President Trump lashed out Tuesday at Sen. Bob Corker (Tenn.), mocking the Republican Foreign Relations Committee chairman's physical stature and charging that he was “made to sound a fool” when he brutally critiqued the president's fitness for office in a recent interview.

Trump, who considers himself a master brander for assigning derisive monikers to political opponents, debuted in a Tuesday morning tweet his nickname for the senator from Tennessee: “Liddle” Bob Corker.

Liddle. It's embarrassing having a president who can't even spell "little" correctly. I'm certainly embarrassed. Are you? Maybe Tillerson should challenge Trump to a spelling bee.

We have a POTUS with the mentality of a kindergarten, so what else is new?

Don't worry, only 7 more years and our enlightened electorate with replace him with another one.

uneducated white voters could care less, they make up his base.

Corker has bigger hands than Trump.

Well, he is very good at that, but he's also a "one trick pony" as goes being very good at things.

I suspect strongly that was deliberate...Most likely, even Trump can spell "little." In all likelihood, the "double-d" is Trump doing what he and many children often do: make a "you're one too" retort. "Liddle" is probably a phonetic spelling used to elicit the sound of a small child (or perhaps, though less likely IMO, a poorly trained/studied adult) who incorrectly enunciates their tees, pronouncing them more as dees. You'll recall that Corker asserted that Trump is puerile, and with every single denigration ever levied at Trump and that was largely true, Trump is, per form, tossing the same label back at his adversary.

He's doing what worked for him against Hillary.

If Corker is really good at "doing the dozens," he'll ignore "liddle" and hit with something new and more forceful and more stinging. If he's got "dirt" or "shade" that hits close to home for Trump, now'd be a good time to use it and put Trump on defense, because Trump is terrible on defense, and as POTUS, anything that is half true, will become something for which he actually has to answer, and it'll be an accusation that coming from a GOP senator, not the press, so he won't be able to use his "fake news" saw.

Trump has a few good tricks in his "shade" bin, but we've seen then them all, and none of his tricks ever toss "shade" with substance, and that's an approach from which Corker will run rings around Trump. All Corker needs to do is trip Trump into trying to say something substantive, and it'l be "all she wrote."

It was meant to be a humorous spelling. Also, have you noticed the spelling on this board?

Oy ...

What "worked for him" was his appeal to morons and Russia spreading fake news about Hillary.
