The term 'leviathan' refers to a sea-beast signifying chaos and has been referenced by theologians and philosophers alike to talk about the metaphysical and even political 'experience' associated with uncertainty.

The modern age has seen many intriguing/symbolic 'civilization artifacts' invented and marketed such as disposable razor-blades (for shaving), mobile phone cases, and silencer-pistols --- artifacts that symbolize our new age focus on pure efficiency and the 'logic of design.'

Behind the intelligibility of such modernism designs lies uncertainty and the undesirability of chaos and inefficiency (and hence leviathan!).

When Tobe Hooper released his ground-breaking and mind-shattering American horror-film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, people started taking notice of how 'everyday items' valuable to 'civilized society' (such as the useful chainsaw meant for deforestation purposes) could be 're-presented' as 'devastation objects' or 'leviathan agents.'

So how do we coordinate our new 'tool-savvy and design-efficient age' with more 'ancient' concerns about the terror of bad choreography? Such a question is important for our modern age of commerce-driven (and hence product-based) relations (e.g., NASDAQ, European Union, etc.).

GOD: The modern world is about nuclear war...
SATAN: Yes, and biochemical weapons have surfaced as an 'invention.'
GOD: Commerce creates 'power-based inventiveness.'
SATAN: That's the 'mark' of Wall Street.
GOD: When the first shaving razor-blade was marketed, people thought about convenience.
SATAN: Now, any Joe can purchase a chainsaw from a Home Depot store in America!
GOD: It's not that 'far-fetched' to consider the 'marketing' of mob psychology...
SATAN: That's really what the films American Gun and Toys are all about.
GOD: Imagine therefore that a brawl breaks out during a baseball game, and bats fly.
SATAN: Any handy-dandy piece of equipment can turn into a weapon.
GOD: Is this the real 'curse' of modernism?
SATAN: Well, Toys tells the story of a paranoia regarding the sales of 'war-toys.'
GOD: Many horror films present images of psychos using hardware/tools.
SATAN: Yes, hammers, chainsaws, machetes, garden-shears, you name it!
GOD: Then the real 'leviathan' of the modern age lies in the marketing of lasers!
SATAN: Yes, lasers represent a new age 'obsession' with precision and incision.
GOD: Isn't that why Laser-Tag was such a popular modernism-symbolic game?
SATAN: Perhaps 'TrumpUSA' will glorify 'smart-weapons'...
