Let's give advice to the Romney-Ryan Campaign

1) Offer to release tax returns, college transcripts, report cards, employee reviews, health records, driving records, court records, and everything else.. the very moment Obama agrees to do the same... they want to scream vetting and disclosure and transparency, don't just put it on their terms being used for class warfare
2) Economy, economy, economy.. give specifics, give facts, show a complete plan, and hammer it over and over again
3) Watch for the distraction tactics.. don't let them take you off focus
4) Forget about the rabid Obamabots, they will not be swayed even if the fucker sprouts horns... focus on the concerns of the middle and independents and even if your plan is not in total sync with what they want, EXPLAIN it and explain why... don't use wishy washy vagueness and platitudes

1) Conditional honesty isn't going to win over anyone
2) Say you want to cut taxes on yourself? Not smart
3) You're right about this one--play your own game.
4) It's too late for that. There aren't enough undecideds to turn the tide in the amounts he needs. He can't get too detailed in his plans if he's going to embrace the Ryan budget (see point 2) because it only benefits people like him. Most voters are nothing like the Governor.

Which is why Obama will win. Easily.

We already have conditional honesty by his opponent... Offer full and complete transparency (you know, what Obama promised but has never delivered on with ANYTHING)... but make it on both sides and across the board... Basically, Obama has to then put up or shut up

Showing loopholes being cut, cost savings with a less complicated tax system, showing the history and direct correlation, etc.. and all you can spew out is a slogan... typical lib

There are plenty independents and undecideds... and plenty in the middle who can indeed be swayed... This is no slam dunk for the idiot incumbent

Saying "yeah but" isn't going to win over any voters either.

Okay, so Romney doesn't want to cut taxes on people like himself...your candidate seems to disagree with you as does the rest of the GOP. Good luck.

The facts are not your friend on that stance. Unless you call a possible 1% "plenty" in many states.

Calling people names lends itself to just how weak kneed you are about your positions.

1.) Tell that to Obama
Tell him what? Release his tax records? He did that Come up with his birth certificate--something no other president has ever had to do? He did that also. The Governor has to meet the same level of transparency. Would you hire someone who refused a background check?

2.) Say you want everyone to pay taxes is smart.
It would be if that were his plan. In the few years he released he paid less % than many on this board. Now he wants to pay even less.

4.) There are more undecideds and independents out there and Ryan puts the emphasis on the VP slot which should be important in any campaign. Not only is he great on economics but can handle the presidency if called on, unlike Biden.

You can't honestly believe that. Thanks, I needed that chuckle. Ryan didn't run for Presidency...that should be your first clue that he doesn't think he's ready. Let me guess...you'll rush to his defense and say that there were other factors...right? Like what for example? What changed in a year? Biden...say what you want about him but at least he ran; twice. At least he thinks he's ready for the office; Something like 30 years in the Senate will better prepare you for that role than 13 from Nowheresville, WI.

Additionally, putting the focus on the VP slot is a lot like saying you're going to sell a car based on the size of the glove compartment.

Again, thanks for the chuckle.
