This one is called Scorpion Pose. It is very tough. Don't try it at home.

I dunno, it seems like kind of a stretch to expect people to bend over backwards to comment on such a loose subject.

I am trying to master this one but it is tough.

The very first pose in Yoga is called Sun Salutation. It is very basic stuff. I think most people should be able to do this without much problem.

Some of you might be wondering what is the point of all these poses? These poses (aasans) are designed to deliver specific benefits. For examples: the pose demonstrated by Corina Richards opens up your heart so it is good for people suffering from heart diseases. Even the basic pose demonstrated by Kathy Budig is packed with spinal benefits resulting in stronger spine. Healthy spine is key to good health.

Today I want to introduce you to Firefly Pose (Tittibhaasan). This pose (aasan) has following benefits:
- Stretches the back torso and inner groins.
- Provides strength to the arms and wrists.
- Tones and tightens the belly.
- Enhances the overall sense of balance.
- Calms the mind by relieving from tension, stress and anxiety.
- Strengthens the wrist

Here is Kat Womer demonstrating how to do this:

Today I want to introduce you all to Sirsaasan. This pose increases blood flow to your brain. It is somewhat difficult unless you are athletic like Syrenn. So please do not try it without the supervision of a qualified Yogi or Yogini.

Here is Rebecca Pacheco demonstrating how to do this:

Joseph Encinia is 2012 World Yoga Champion. He is a living testimony to the benefits of Yoga. He was diabetic and overweight with bone issues. He was resigned to fate of an ill person. But one day someone introduced him to Yoga and that was the beginning of healthy life for him.

I used to think Yoga was just for wimps. Then one day I tried it and inside of 15 minutes I was sweating, shaking and ready to quit!
