RIGHT BEHIND YOU
Another example of militant, atheist queers attacking Christianity. This woman has no respect for the religious protection from government clearly stated in our Constitution. She feels the separation of church and state is one-sided in favor of the state. And she's demanding pastors and ministers stop saying anything that conflicts with her own sick view of sexuality and morality....read it for yourself....this is what the "progressives" have in store for us all. This isn't New York or Massachusetts...this is HOUSTON! :eusa_snooty:

Yeah, it's not like churches or church members through peer pressure and position have ever tried to censore or subjugate homersexuals..

First, piss off you homophobic mini-mind. Second, I agree completely. Law's the law, and civil law and religion have no business meddling in one another's affairs.

The Scriptures make it clear what fate awaits homosexuals. These pastors preach the Word and are entitled to do so, whether some pervert mayor likes it or not. This was actually a blind attack on them after her office had thrown out a legit petition to stop her office from doing the same thing in the Houston public schools. She also passed ordinances allowing men to use women's public bathrooms. Enough is enough...she should be charged with malfeasance and removed from office.

Well, then she needs to leave religion alone, doesn't she?

 "phobic" would imply I somehow FEAR THE QUEERS when in fact they scare nobody...you're confusing my disgust for the filthy deathstyle you embrace....now run along and invent some new lies about where Saddam got his WMD,

The difference is MoonGoon;

She is abusing her elected public office to deny the pastor's their 1st Amendment rights.

Whereas, the pastor's are just exercising their 1st Amendment rights to criticize anyone or anything without government interference. .......

.

This is a pretty alarming overreach by the government. I imagine a motion to squash these subpoenas is the making and will be successful.

Yes.....even Barry's moonbat judges can't let this stand....too obvious what their intentions are.....they're winning in the schools so in another 20 years it won't matter because nobody will attend church....that is unless we put an END to these freaks before that.

Todd Starnes isn't reporting this story factually, unsurprising to anyone whom has knowledge of his work. Starnes has a history of playing fast and loose the facts. His articles calls this "The Bathroom Bill" despite the fact that language was stricken from the final version of the ordinance. It isn't a part of the ordinance whatsoever.

Houston Passed Its Equal Rights Ordinance Last Night Texas Monthly

Todd Starnes is full of shit.

This thread is another example of "Christian" hypocrisy -- you homophobic hater "Christian" know nothing of Christ or his teachings.

These homophobic "pastors" go around spewing filth over their "flocks" and ramp up the hate and fear within the individuals. It's human nature to be fearful of the other or someone different than you -- throughout history religious leaders have played on that fear of the other to ramp fear and keep devoted followers dropping $$ in the basket.

I'd say it's YOU who's full of shit...your link doesn't mention men in women's bathrooms.

You should be terrified of what awaits you in the afterlife....denying it exists won't help you no matter how strident and hateful you get. There is no FEAR of your kind.....more like pity turning to anger. We allowed you to be out in the open but that's not enough....you think we're starting to agree with your horrid lifestyle....but we don't...we were ready to ignore you but you're making that impossible so when the coming BACKLASH comes, you'll be fucked in this life as well as after you leave this life......double tap, sucker. :suck:

From the article:

"The fear of transgender women—or of fourteen-year-old boys pretending to be transgender women—entering bathrooms to spy on or expose themselves to girls and women is one that, according to experts, has a no basis in reality. Nonetheless, that aspect of the ordinance was stricken from its final version.

Section 17-51(b) of the ordinance contained the provision and was removed from the version that passed."

Calling this "The Bathroom Bill" as Starnes does is entirely inaccurate and misleading, if not an outright lie.

I find this move by the mayor to be most alarming but Starnes isn't telling the full story. This isn't the first time he has played fast and loose with the facts in his articles.
