In my day it was an insult, now the majority of youths see it favorably while capitalism is seen as wrong and greedy. If a poster about diversity on a wall happens to dissuade Johnny Redneck from beating up a gay guy for the fun of it, where is the harm?

I taught at what most people would consider the best example of a redneck high school this past year. Some of the most popular kids in the school were gay! Nobody cared! Isn't that the way we want it to be? The gay kids didn't hold sit-ins or impose their sexuality on anyone. Everyone just knew they were gay and that was it.

That is why we work our asses off 10-12 hours a day at school instead of abiding by our contract by not getting to school early and going home as soon as the bell rings. We are so liberal we work additional hours chaperoning proms and dances, selling tickets for ball games and being scorekeepers and clock operators for no pay. We donate sick days to other faculty members who are sick, just gave birth, or have adopted children and that is the height of liberalism.

I'm not talking about posters, big letters on walls and in handouts. I am against government taking up the role of parents, we learned academics and skills, not morality as seen through the eyes of liberals. Schools are filled with libs, I think you are in denial.

Yes, our schools are full of libs! That is why we pray as a faculty for our students who are sick or injured. That is why the vast majority of the teachers do not participate in the union. That is why we work our asses off 10-12 hours a day at school instead of abiding by our contract by not getting to school early and going home as soon as the bell rings. We are so liberal we work additional hours chaperoning proms and dances, selling tickets for ball games and being scorekeepers and clock operators for no pay. We donate sick days to other faculty members who are sick, just gave birth, or have adopted children and that is the height of liberalism.
