Not at all... If you met someone today who said, "God Spoke To Me and told me to do something crazy", we'd probably institutionalize them. But amazingly, we look at Crazy people in the past - Jesus, Mohammed, Joseph Smith - and we don't seriously wonder if they were crazy or not. Smith especially.
