OK- But going through the process and obtaining an auto weapon is not an exception. You just have to jump through more hoops

Or know an experienced gunsmith who can convert a semi-automatic rifle into an automatic. I have not looked but I'm also certain that it can be found on line.

Or just the instructions/video on how to do it yourself.

No that's not strange. Just take some time and research all of the mas shootings in America over the last decade and you will find that somewhere on the FBI's radar the shooters name can be found. Maybe that is understandable or maybe it's not.

The two were escorted away by security.

No. I too find that interesting. Either she was somehow involved or was a clairvoyant.

Or she was one of millions of fruitcakes that say the same thing everyday in Las Vegas.

I've lived here for years now and I've never heard anyone say that. Not one person.

I would say that with the number of people dead and shot here, every lead is an important one... and shouldnt be so easily dismissed.

No need for him to be a good shooter. You're shooting at a crowd of 20,000+ people, jammed shoulder to shoulder with a weapon firing 600 to 900 rounds per minute. The miracle is that many more were not killed.

What mystifies me is how he, with no criminal record, 62 years old, nice house etc., gathered so many weapons and ammunition. It must have taken years.

There are a few things...that I'm still trying to understand in this tragedy....

And the number one is why those two people said to the girl celebrating her birthday, like shown on the video, that you all are going to die, and 45 minutes later this horrible massacre happens.

In my book that is a hugeeee coincidence.

Where are those two characters now? Any news from the Vegas police Department yet?

Again, this news seems to me very important in the investigation.

The police has to give the public an answer!

Also the police said they 'will try to talk to' the shooters partner/wife who is apparently in Japan ATM. All sounds kinda relaxed considering what has transpired!

I think there is reason to believe he may have not acted alone. It's way to early to tell but the motive and profile seems a bit strange so far. If he was just a bad luck gambler, that doesnt seem reason to carry out a massacre, then there appears to be no history of mental illness. Listening to radio shows today there were many caller ins' with interesting info. One woman had a relative who was hospitalized from the scene with a 22 round. many ex military called swore up and down that the sound of an AK-47 is unmistakable on the audio... so is it possible there was more than one shooter? If he had 20 + guns... that amount of ammo, probably belt feed rounds or drum feed rounds , would take a lot to come by and very expensive if you ask any gun expert. This hardly seems like someone who just snapped... there was so much premeditation, including a camera mounted to see when police were coming.
