Large alligator found 'patiently waiting' for Louisiana dollar store to open

The Plaquemines Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana shared a photo of a large alligator found waiting for a local Dollar General store to open early one morning.

There is a great video of a guy trapping.a smalish gator in a garbage bin and bringing him back to the water. It's on the internet somewhere. I didn't know Louisiana had such creatures roaming the streets.

I was in New Orleans many years ago for work. The place definitely had character even though it was a bit seedy in places.

It does have some interesting history for sure.
I haven't been in awhile and it's just down the road from me.
As far as being seedy it sure is,after Katrina we had a bunch of em move to Houston and we had a big jump in criminal activity.
