Its easy- when the polls can be implied to favor Trump they polls matter and a reliable- and Trumspters crow about them.

When polls show Trump not winning- they are obviously rigged and unreliable and dont' really matter because the election is still not until November.

In September & October of 1980, many polls had Carter handily beating Reagan. A month or so later, Reagan destroyed Carter, taking 489 electoral votes to Carter's 49. What an ass kicking.

Stated differently, the only poll that matters is the one in November.
