Well, of course, that is the plan. Biden and Harris mumbling no, no, doesn't wash with any sentient person.

Mayor Eric Garcetti said Joe Biden has made it “clear” on fracking that he wants to “rapidly wind it down.” We too can be a third world nation. For decades, we heard that we need to become free of foreign fossil fuels and now that we are, the left wants to make us dependent again.
California can’t even keep the lights on.
Fracking was a godsend and it saved Obama’s rotten economy. Now, these fools want to do away with it and all fossil fuels.
Watch:
California officials want people to believe climate change is the problem and the only solution is to rid ourselves of fossil fuels.
It’s simply not true.
NOT CLIMATE CHANGE
Mike Shellenberger wrote on Twitter, “We have 100 years of fire suppression that led to huge accumulation of fuel loads… As a result, our forests and woodlands are not healthy, and we’re getting more catastrophic fire behavior than we would otherwise.”
He quoted from Mother Jones, which didn’t write too bad an article, “Drought, disease, and insects have left 100 million dead trees browning across California, and in some places, 90 percent of the trees have died.”
As he said, “Even left-wing magazines in California were starting to cover forest fires in a sane and scientific way until @GavinNewsom @KamalaHarris started politicizing them.”

There were several other articles out there to refute your trump claim, but I am willing to bet you already know it.

Biden didn't say that at all. But if we end up being energy neutral in X number of years, you will be fracking less is what that Mayor is saying. And it's the truth. Many places are selling off their surplus that are energy neutral. We do that here. How about reporting it for real instead of lying about it to try and make another Crisis that doesn't exist.

Senile short timer Biden will quickly be steamrolled by the radical agenda he'll be ushering in. Americans are crazy if they believe fracking will continue under a liberal agenda. It will take a while, but it will happen.

We'll 'have a way' to ban fracking in Biden administration: Sierra Club

Joe Biden said recently that he wouldn’t ban fracking in the U.S. if he were elected president, but many environmentalists are still vowing to support him.

“With a possible Biden administration, we’ll have a way” to ban fracking, Ramon Cruz, president of the Sierra Club, told Yahoo Finance.

The Sierra Club, one of the largest environmental groups in the U.S., opposes fracking, or hydraulic fracturing, which is the process of drilling beneath the earth to extract gas or oil, because of its negative environmental effects. (The Environmental Protection Agency has found that “hydraulic fracturing activities can impact drinking water resources under some circumstances.”)

Biden does not support shutting down fracking. He does support not expanding private businesses getting New permits to do such, on federally owned land, and intends to stop New permitting of such.

Existing fracking operations on our federal land, can continue....just no new fracking operations on it.

And on private land, fracking is a free for all.

we will not be carbon neutral any time soon because the demand for power is always increasing.

Wind and solar cannot possibly supply the energy we need.

Wind and solar cannot possibly supply the energy we need.
But it isn't just wind and solar alone...it's energy saver appliances, and more efficient machinery that manufactures, it's fuel standards in new cars and trucks....

Huge cuts in energy usage, because we found out in this pandemic shut down, that employees can do their work, from home....reducing car gasoline usage....reducing big energy usage at businesses.

And creating a safer nuclear energy plant and safer disposal of waste system....

It's a 'waste not, want not' playing field....

Yes, no one or two simple things will reduce our dependency on fossil fuels.... but a combination of a lot of little things that can help...

Joe Biden says he won’t ban fracking, but can we believe him? | Opinion

"The problem for Pennsylvanians with Joe Biden is very straightforward. Which should they believe: what he says to their faces or what he says behind their backs?

At a Monday campaign stop in Pittsburgh, Joe Biden emphatically stated, “I am not banning fracking.” Here’s what he says when he’s not in Pennsylvania.

At a July 2019 Democratic presidential debate, CNN’s Dana Bash asked Biden, “Would there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking in a Biden administration?” He responded, “No, we would work it out. We would make sure it’s eliminated.”

At a September 2019 campaign event, Biden told another young girl to “look at my eyes” before he promised her, “I guarantee you, I guarantee you we’re going to end fossil fuels.” Fracked natural gas is, of course, a fossil fuel.

Then at a February 2020 campaign appearance, Biden said three times that he was going to “get rid of” or “phase out” fossil fuels. And, of course, the many thousands of jobs that go with them.

But there’s much more than just Biden’s latest or even past statements.

His running mate, Kamala Harris, has also been public, and emphatic, about her opposition to fracking. If Biden had to step down or, for whatever reason, would be unable to serve out his term, Ms. Harris would fulfill the fracking ban and throw thousands of Pennsylvanians out of work.

A poll last month found almost 60 percent of voters believe Biden won’t make it through his first term.

Likewise, a climate advisory committee established by the Democratic National Committee came out with a recommendation against fracking in May. Bernie Sanders opposes fracking and Biden is adopting many of Sanders’ policy positions to win over Bernie voters. All the green activist groups supporting Biden want a fracking ban.

And left-wing activists take heart that Biden can be easily steered further to the left. Even two-time Communist Party vice presidential candidate Angela Davis supports Biden because he ”can be most effectively pressured” by the left.

Biden never said when. And we are going to have to stop using Fossil Fuels someday for power and transportation. And that is a fact. I would say by the year 2050, if we haven't stopped, we are going to be in serous trouble. Mother Nature is already pissed off enough.

Just how efficient do you think things can get?

And the work from home thing won't last.

You're going to find people are less productive when they work from home not more. It's human nature.

And we are not going to see any new nuclear research in this country any time soon because politicians have convinced the public that it is not safe.

The fact is we already know that LFTR reactors are safer than the current reactors we use but all the science falls on deaf ears.

Spin spin spin. Of course he will say this to win States like Pennsylvania, then will have an epiphany if he wins and change his mind.

Or his successor will do it.

Democrats hate fracking. Look at the Ban in NY while Pennsylvania is able to exploit the Marcellus shale.

For decades, we heard that we need to become free of foreign fossil fuels and now that we are, the left wants to make us dependent again.
You do know that that even though fracking for nat gas IS a fossil fuel Native to us, you don’t believe in climate change so you don’t get that eventually we have to cut back on nat gas too. This stuff is way over the science illiterate right.

Probably not. Pretty sure we do not have enough petroleum/natural gas resources for a Big Oil state economy. If the Californians force out the real Texans, many could find home here and fit right in. Old Texans are pretty much like Tennesseans, but with an attitude, some of which came from us in the first place.
