So now the Buckeyes will be without a QB for the Bowl.
Looks like Day being noncommittal in regard to McCord being QB next year prompted him to leave.
The back up QB though is horrible.

He took a beating after the Michigan game for saying before the game, it was just another game. And he lost the game with his turn overs. Then coach Day would not commit to him being his QB next year, along with his buddy Harrison going to the NFL.McCord didn't like the offensive system at Ohio State and felt restricted.

Maybe, maybe not. But you know damn well Day has someone in mind. If Ewers comes back, especially if they shit their pants and the pastel cowboys (UT) win the national championship, Arch will leave and Ohio State would be a desirable landing spot for him.
