I have just come across this little gem from 1973.
It's the First Edition touring little ol' Noo Zealand.

Hilarious stuff - walk shorts and walk socks everywhere.
Late night shopping until 9pm on a Friday night and then the shops were closed until Monday.
Pubs closed at 9pm weekdays and 11pm Friday and Saturday - no opening or sales allowed on Sundays.
3 million people - around 57 million sheep.
Men drank beer (unless they were a poofter), women drank wine.
1 B&W TV channel that closed at 11pm.
The government owned the railways, the airline, the major bank, the postal service, the telephone system, the ferry services...

It was a quiet wee place in those days.
