A while back I wrote a poem for a cyber buddy. It was published in Sweden/Canada and Finland. After the recent flood her in Arizona all hard copies of it were lost.
But we have re-connected on the net, so please allow me to present Katy's Poem.
Bare no teargas you gaze at my wounds both seen and unseen.
Bare no tears at words spoken or unspoken.
Bare no tears of thoughts I have or those to come.
Bare no tears of my challenges of now or in the future.
I have found true courage and it resides with in me.
I have found love that brings me peace.
Before me lies a path to greater things.
Before me lies a path of greater passion.
Before me lies a path of greater humanity.
But most important before me lies a path with room for a buddy.
