Judge Resigns After Telling Attorney to Receive and Perform Oral Sex on Viggo Mortensen

Funny that nowhere in the poorly-written article is there any indication of the circumstances in which the comment was made.

In other words nowhere does it say it was made in court. Doesn't in fact indicate any setting at all. And yet here you are ready to "lock him up" with no facts.

Show us where it is then.

And next time read your own poorly-written article before posting something that obviously is not ready.

The judge got fired and can never be a judge again. He is demoted to ambulance chaser. He agreed and won't be charged. I don't know what you were reading.

Nothing, which is all that was in there.

This half-baked story renders a story about a comment made by this judge, with no reference whatsoever, no video, no indication of whether this was in a courtroom or in a casino or what. It doesn't even have its verbs in order ("A judge in New York has been forced to resigned [sic]) and floats a picture of a completely unidentified subject. Is that the judge? The complainant? The editor? Nobody knows.

There ain't no story here. Somebody's trolling for ad clicks and not bothering to even write complete sentences, let alone complete stories.

we missed ya in the spicer thread.

this judge is a disgrace

Those convicted while this judge sat on the bench should probably request new trials, particularly if they are homos.

This man obviously does not have the mental balance and strength of character to preside over a trial.

Jim, firstly, everything you say is true.

I don't know the judge's age or anything, but some people develop age-related brain disorders that eventually kill its host. One is called dementia that can transform a saint into a worrisome borderline crazy and the other is called Alzheimer's that can transform a kind person into a hostile person so unlike his healthy-brained self you wouldn't know him if you only looked on behavioral episodes. I pray that the greater courts get a medical evaluation on this judge. A cat scan can tell a neurologist how far along he is on his path to a certain death. I can tell you these diseases strike the best of good men and women, and it steals their dignity like a thief steals away jewels in the night or day.

I watched this happen gradually over a 10-year period to one of the best human beings I ever met. It broke every heart in both sides of the family and brought him negative attention to his good reputation as a faithful community pillar for 70 years did not deserve. If this judge did not behave in this manner 5 years ago, he's a good candidate for either of these terrorizing diseases that breaks hearts including their own. Just sayin'.

Sometimes people with very demanding jobs dealing with disreputable people just get done. They reach a point where they want out. It sounds like this judge was intending to resign anyway and just made a statement when he left.

Judges are hard working people, Tips. Not only are they required to do double studies compared to other professions, they wisely choose to be community icons or pay the price, plus their learning experience continues on a case-by-case research basis. No judge in his right mind who has spent a life time building his good name would intentionally destroy it, imho. Maybe you're right, but I'm putting my chips on the square that says his problem was likely a brain disordered to the point of losing learned inhibitions, which is one arterial occlusion away from aberrant behavior. It's comparable to a heart attack, except it happens in the near-microscopic regions of a person's brain.

Nice victim card you got there. Have a side of whine with it, will you?

Now, if you look at that posting of yours, it declares you a semi-literate goof with the reading comprehension of a gnat. (How about another victim card now, and a whine?)

Pogo was exactly right indicating that was one poorly written article, and that points out how Pogo is in possession of his critical faculties. Had he found a match in yours, you would have countered that the setting of the good judge's comment doesn't matter, because judges perform their duties as long as they exhibit good behavior, and bad behavior, even outside the courtroom, may result in their removal from that office, or forced resignation.

But then, you'd rather play the poor victim.
