JPMorgan Chase to pay $13 billion. They knowingly sold faulty mortgage securities.

Add that to the BILLIONS that Wells Fargo, B of A, etc. have paid in fines for wrong doing. Too bad the previous administration didn't police well.
 
They sold them to Fannie and Freddie who told everyone they wanted to buy all the faulty securities they could get and slap an AAA rating on.

Once again, had the US government stayed out of the housing market, this wouldn't have happened.

Freddie Mac was started to buy mortgages from S&L and less than a decade later the entire S&L industry, in business for 200 years, collapsed
