Joe Biden recently asked Congress for $40 billion dollars in the form of an emergency funding package.

Part of this funding would apparently go towards building housing for illegal immigrants at the border so that they have a place to live while they are being processed.

We have thousands of homeless veterans in this country and Biden wants to use tax dollars to build housing for people entering the country illegally.

This is what the money is REALLY for:

The supplemental funding request included $24 billion for agency efforts to assist Ukraine, including money for the Pentagon; the departments of Treasury, Health and Human Services, and Energy; and the U.S. Agency for International Development. About $4 billion would go to the departments of Homeland Security, State, Justice and Labor for border operations as the Biden administration looks to ensure it has adequate resources for law enforcement personnel, migrant sheltering and other services and the fentanyl crisis. The White House also asked for $12 billion for the Federal Emergency Management Agency to refill the coffers for disaster response.

If and when someone comes here illegally ... then they're illegal aliens. If the Federal Government “qualifies” them for housing at American taxpayer expense, then the Government is aiding and abetting a crime and becomes complicit in said crime. That makes them criminals as well.

The path of least resistance is the "Help Wanted" signs all over the country.

That's no excuse. There have always been help wanted signs ,and every modern country needs to have a right to check the flow of immigrants.

Why is it then In NEW YORK City alone Migrants are sleeping on sidewalks ..no room in the shelters? Does NYC really have that many help wanted signs when even more are coming every day? There is no reason to burden US cities or the people who are forced to sleep on the street. At the point that this type of thing is happening, you can say there is a crisis. Cities already had a responsibility to their own citizens..and that is already being diminished all around the country..but especially along the border.

This doesn't sound very humane to me. The humane thing would be to have a Tough immigration policy, but somehow they were lead to believe they could be a refugee just by being poor, so more people are coming here than can be handled... which leads to things like women and children being EXPLOITED by Cartels.
Please explain how the mush head policies of Liberals actually helps these immigrants. A lot of them made the mistake of selling their home wherever they came from and uprooting their lives.

Plus,these refugee policies are meant for escapees of wars, hurricanes maybe .. natural disasters ... not so much just people looking for better jobs. Its too bad that their countries don't have the kind of paying jobs they want, but if you want to call that reason for being a refugee, then you can just import half the country of India. Why not then? They have it even harder than latin Americans.

Ok, so you want to lay blame at the feet of citizens..and not at the feet of our elected government officials who are charged with setting and enforcing policy. They are given an out for not doing their job every time you hear them turn around and say "the system is broken". Yes, its broken because they are in charge of it. It doesn't take away the threat to citizens by Fentanyl ,heroine and other drugs by blaming big business. That would be a nice solution from one angle to crack down on some employers, but the more immediate solution is for the government to do their job. They just don't want to.

You may blame and fine some large companies, but where I live here in California... people are just going to come to work under the table for cash.. and some of them are gang members etc who snuck through.
