I agree. Through our church(es) I have been privileged to help new immigrants--immigrants who applied and were accepted as immigrants LEGALLY. I and other Christians helped them settle in, make sure they understood the currency, got tutors to learn the language and teach the kids until they had English down well enough to attend public school, made sure they were aware of the customs, routines, laws, expectations. And I'm pleased to say all are solid upstanding naturalized citizens now, an asset to their communities and people anybody would be proud to know and call friend. And they did it themselves with some volunteer assistance from new friends here and did not cost the U.S. tax payers a dime.
