Jobless Claims in U.S. Fall to Match Lowest Level Since 1973

Hehehe, no. Technology is one of the key elements of the process, but not they way you think. It consolidates too. .

too stupid as always !! IBM started computers, got left in the dust by 1000 new competitiors and "it consolidates too"!!!!

See why we say the liberal willl be stupid? What other conclusion is possible??

No wonder that the newest technologies are invented more in China, Russia, Australia, India, and even African countries, compared to the number of recent American ideas.

so new inventions are coming from all over the world now and this is consolidation???

See why we say stupid? Sorry to rock your world.

No, what I said was that capitalism consolidates into socialism. And no, that is not a good thing.

The currently ongoing American consolidation

yes 40 million corporations is consolidation for sure!! See why we say the liberal will be stupid?? What other conclusion is possible??
Recently released IRS data shows that there were 1.6 million C corporations in 2011. This is the lowest number of traditional corporations since 1974 and 1 million fewer than there were at the peak in 1986. In other words, in every year since 1986, roughly 40,000 U.S. corporations have disappeared from the tax rolls. However, the losses have accelerated since 2006 to a rate of about 60,000 per year.

????well it consolidates into socialism only if there are a lot of libturds around. In China socialism slowly starved 60 million to death and then they consolidated toward capitalism and instantly eliminated 40% of the entire world's poverty!!

This is just the cycle that I talked about earlier in this thread. Capitalism always consolidates into socialism. That is the next phase for capitalists. It is relevant in China, but not in the USA, what happens after socialism, although I described this earlier here also. It is true that if firepower can match total population headcount of an isolated region, then socialism can be bypassed by killing off enough residents. It is such forceful isolation and genocide that gave birth to Soviet socialism, so implementation of your logic has already failed in history at least once.

Capitalism always consolidates into socialism.

you mean except in China, Poland, Russia, East Germany, Ukraine, and 100 other places????????
No. China went through a business consolidation some 1000 years ago, after which no real development happened, as expected. All these countries that you are listing here are not natural but artificial creations, essentially soviet satellite states, with no local decision power of any kind. So, economically and socially, we can consider them as a part of the Soviet Union.

Jobless Claims in U.S. Fall to Match Lowest Level Since 1973

The number of Americans submitting applications for jobless benefits unexpectedly declined last week to match the fewest in four decades.

Initial unemployment claims dropped by 7,000 to 255,000 in the week ended Oct. 10, a Labor Department report showed Thursday. The median forecast of economists surveyed by Bloomberg called for 270,000 applications. The decline brought the monthly average to its lowest level since December 1973.

“These numbers are pretty impressive,”said Brian Jones, senior U.S. economist at Societe Generale in New York, who correctly projected the number of applications. “Both the initial and continuing claims numbers are consistent with the fact that we have a labor market that’s fairly tight and continues to improve.”

100% stupid as always:

1) there was no business 1000 years ago
2) China just deconsolidated to capitalism so only an idiot would be thinking about its impending consolidation.

255,000 initial jobless claims on average.
The month of September gained 142,000.
50,000 stopped collecting unemployment. ...likely because their benefits ran out..

Only 142,000 new jobs....when you need 279,000 to break even.

Not a good economy.....despite the biased reporting by the Democrats' SuperPAC....better known as the mainstream media.

The jobless claims is a weekly number of new claims.
Then you reference a monthly number of net change in jobs.
And I can't find the 50,000 you mention, nor why you would think it was mainly due to benefits.

Only 142,000 new jobs....when you need 279,000 to break even.
Break even with what? Where'd you get that number from?

I believe denying and disparaging Labor from full recourse to the legal concept of employment at will, may require class action to remedy that form of class warfare.

Complete bullshit. And a perfect example of a typical Wrong Information Voter.

You need only 112,049 jobs to break even.

112,049 per month it would take 46 years to find jobs for all of the working age unemployed we have today....
This doesn’t take into account population growth either.

142,000 is piss-poor.

500k per month would get us to near zero unemployment in 10 years....give or take. Less than 250k is disappointing.
