Jerry Jones: Cowboys Will Stand For The Flag Or “Your Ass Will Be Off The Team”

So showing fake patriotism, in order to keep your job, is a good thing? Ok then.
How 'bout not doing things that will piss off the fans such that they will stop buying tickets and stop buying cowboy merchandise. If showing "fake" patriotism keeps the stadiums filled, so be it. The Cowboys are America's team after all.

How about worrying about real problems and not catering to those offended snowflakes?

It is a real problem for a business to offend its customer base.

so Kaepernick wont be joining the cowboys

So is this ahole billionaire gonna kick all his beer drinking, hot dog eating fans out if they don't stand at attention and look directly at the flag and shut up during the anthem?

I hope his minority players call his bluff and he cuts them.

The Cleveland Browns will surely appreciate picking up players with a social conscience to be on that young rebuilding team.

Do it Jerry? Have an all white team.

If the customer base is so easily offended, let them walk.

Ignoring these guys is the best way to handle it.

Okay, perhaps you are right. Ignore millions of dollars flying out the window because those snowflake customers are walking. Ignoring an employee that does things that drive paying snowflake customers away is simply the right thing to do.

If a customer walks because an employee exercises their constitutionally guaranteed rights, in a passive manner? Yep. Let them walk.

The constitutional does not give people the right to free speech when on the clock of an employer.

Are you one of the stupid less educated people that agrees with stupid Trump on all this.

Just wondering.

Go to school. It's not too late.

If the greeter at Walmart exercises her free speech by calling people that enter the store bitches and SOB's, then that person will get fired. While on the job, the employee is a representative of the employer. That being said, if the employer doesn't mind that the greeter calls customers bitches and SOB's as they enter the store, then so be it.

I understand the employer/employee relationship. But where does the "...calling people that enter the store bitches and SOB's" come in?

And if someone is on a break at work, many times they will exercise their free speech and right to protest. They can't make a big scene, but something mild is likely ignored.

The athletes are on a break. The game has not started yet.

Desperado, post: 18114234,
They have also outed themselves as American haters.
If they think the US is despicable then they have enough money to move to a country more suitable for them.

Are you Trump's favorite idiot?

"The weekend’s NFL ratings were 3 percent higher overall than for the same weekend last year, a league spokesman told HuffPost Tuesday. And ESPN’s Monday night game was up 63 percent, compared with the Monday game at this time last year"

Trump Says NFL Ratings Are 'Way Down' Because Of Protests. They're Actually Up. | HuffPost

It's the low minority 37% that think Trump is right that hate America. Racism is un-American. And you are full of it.

Yes I would rather have their voices suppressed.

Spoken like a self-righteous white Trump disciple seeking to oppress black men once again. Specifically wealthy athletic celebrity black men.

Expressing contempt for America is the privilege of wealthy white men like Trump. Trump ran a campaign that America was no longer great during a black man's presidency.

Now these black players say something about America is not great and they hate America.

Comfortable white world you want back, isn't it, suppressor.

The athletes represent the NFL at the game and pregame. If there actions are view by a significant percentage of fans as disrespecting the flag and the good ol' USA, then there will soon be less fans....less customers. It really isn't a difficult concept.

So help the idiots out by showing them that none of this about disrespecting the flag.

I realize this is difficult because the President of the United States is the biggest idiot on this as there is.

He needs the divisiveness. Being an idiot is a political asset to him but only for 37% of adults tops.

:clap2:
It clearly shows that Jones is nothing more then a fuking liar. He no more cared about the protest, all he cared about is his team losing money. That is all this is about MONEY. Trump is a genius in showing the hypocrisy of the team owners.

Jerry Jones is all about the money? Of course he is. The Cowboys are a business.

You call others stupid (earlier post) and idiot. Look in the mirror dude. Disrespecting the flag and thus the country is what is offensive to many Americans that are usually otherwise happy NFL fans.
