Religious groups are on their side, too. While several prominent religious organizations have filed briefs in opposition, leaders in the Episcopal Church, the United Church of Christ, the Unitarian Universalist Association, the official organizations of conservative and reform Judaism, and more than 1,900 theologians signed a brief urging the court to legalize same-sex marriage.

Now let the whining begin

Oh- so you only hate some Christians.

Right....

Right....
Appearantly only some Christians hate Gays. The others are following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Those who hate Gays believe in their hearts that they are following the teachings of Jesus Christ.

It's only you who believe they don't.

Guno The government has to be politically correct and constitutionally fair so yes they should legalize gay marriage. That said the church has to be scripturally correct and not politically correct, therefore it does not have to accept gays if it doesn't want to. Those who want to go against scripture and accept gays can petition the denomination to modernize. If the main denomination refuses than those who support gay marriage can form their own church. Churches splinter all the time, no big deal.

The Episcopalians and Presbyterians have already split their denominations over the issue. It's only fair.

When social science shoots down homo marriage there will be no more homo legal marriage. That's why the homos funnel their argument against Christians. That is the largest opposition group. That's why they don't challenge muslims. Not enough to worry about.
But once the argument of the empirical of social science is allowed into the fray, game over for the homo marriage agenda.

The Pope doesn't meet your standards?

Keep the christian angle coming and demonstrate your obviousness.

Just roll back the clock 50 years ago and substitute the word segregation for gay marriage and see how that turned out for you. The country is progressing .

Sure they are. Especially when He said "This I now command you; love your neighbor as your self". Or even the teachings that included snappy phrases like "Judge not lest he be judged" or "he who is without sin shall cast the first stone". Yes sir! In their hearts, just like Nixon, the know they're right! That's some brand of Christianity they've got going there!

That's the typical non-sequitur that moronic lefties like you continue to use in attempting to justify homofascism. Race has nothing to do with homosexuality and behavior has no comparison to skin color.
Meanwhile, you need religion to have an opponent in your attempt to implement fascism. Social science has you completely defeated.
