it's a sad, sad day ...

Trump launched his presidential campaign in Miami in November 1999. There, at a luncheon hosted by the Cuban American National Foundation, an organization of Cuban exiles, heproclaimed he wanted to maintain the American embargo and would not spend any money in Cuba so long as Fidel Castro remained in power. At the time, disclosing that his company had just spent money on the Cuba trip, or even acknowledging an interest in loosening the embargo, would have ruined Trump’s chances in Florida, a critical electoral state where large numbers of Cuban-Americans remain virulently opposed to the regime.

“As you know—and the people in this room know better than anyone—putting money and investing money in Cuba right now doesn’t go to the people of Cuba,’’ Trump told the crowd. “It goes to Fidel Castro. He’s a murderer. He’s a killer. He’s a bad guy in every respect, and, frankly, the embargo must stand if for no other reason than, if it does stand, he will come down.”

thats why Trump spent $70K in Cuba, Castro was a killer, a bad gut in every respect.

Next he'll be giving them $1.7 billion and helping them with their nuclear weapons program. No, wait...

yeah, go with that, please go with that.

ROFLMAO

not sure when all of you Trumpbots are going to understand nobody gives a fuck if you don't care ... you're a minority ... more people care than don't, no matter how loud you squeal ..

Yeah, I can see that ... all three of you.

squeal little piggie, squeal.

Squeal? LOL

I must admit that I am amused by the desperation of the left as they grab on to any little piece of flotsam for dear life, hoping it is the one that brings Trump down.

If you're really serious that you want to stop the Trump candidacy - and, frankly, the left's actions indicate they don't want to bring him down, they're having too much fun hurling snark balls at him - go find a serious issue - economy, jobs, taxes, national security - and attack him with facts and logic.

Frankly, we simply DON'T care about these snarky, little, and prepubescent attacks. Taking one little item, and blowing all out of logical proportion, accomplishes nothing, other than to feed your pathetic collective ego. NOBODY CARES!

Find something serious and attack him --- you know, something like, exposing classified information to possible compromise, or maybe allowing 4 Americans to die without taking any actions, or maybe telling lies to the parents of the dead about WHY their sons died, or maybe ordering the FBI to conduct background investigations into political rivals, or possibly, firing White House employees in order to avoid investigation about questionable "resource allocations", or maybe even attempting to "rellocate" White House furniture, which is government property, to your next house, or allowing your staff to vandalize the White House upon your departure, or possibly, destroying law firm billing records that mysteriously came up missing when subpoenaed by Congress, only to show up at the White House 3 years later, --- you know, those kinds of things.

Go get him !!!

But stop wasting your time, and ours, with superfluous, meaningless bullshit.

So has he been convicted or indicted? Until then, just like Hillary, I don't put any weight into this crap, just more left/right propaganda.

Trump knew this was illegal but did it anyway. That's news, especially in Florida.

It wasn't illegal. First, if it was illegal, then why didn't the Clinton Administration in 1999, take Trump to court? Or for that matter, the hundreds of other companies that did the exact same thing? Many corporations ran exploratory missions to Cuba. That's why there were consulting firms that specialized in doing those missions.

Moreover, it was Bill Clinton himself that pushed to easy the policy on Cuba.
CNN - Clinton set to ease some restrictions on Cuba - March 19, 1998

Or did we conveniently forget that?

The bottom line Franky, is that you are wrong. For heaven sakes, Trump posted an op-ed published publicly in the Miami Herald. Even Hillary knows to not post an op-ed in public news papers "yes I intentionally made up that Benghazi was about an obscure movie no one saw!"

If Trump thought anything about what happened was illegal, he most certainly wouldn't have advertised it in a public paper.

Stop being a moron Franky. Grow up a little.

One is political, one is illegal. You can't spin Trump out his illegal past so don't bother trying.

We're not trying because it wasn't illegal. You don't have to spin something that isn't illegal.

You are the one trying to spin it to be illegal, when clearly it wasn't.

Where are the hundreds of convictions of all the other companies that had exploratory missions to Cuba? None? None at all? Even though hundreds of companies did it? You know that hundreds of companies are doing it right now as we speak, because they anticipate trade being opened up?

Trump spending even a penny in Cuba, without US government permission, was illegal. Spin won't help you.

So you are telling me, that the Clinton Administration was so absolutely incompetent, that when Trump told everyone in an op-ed published in a public news paper that he committed these massive crimes........ they still didn't prosecute?

So either the Clinton's were completely and utterly incompetent, or you people are so mindlessly stupid, that no one should care what you think?

Which is it. Either works for me.
