They want publicity is what they want, in order to increase their business profit.

That's all it is.

No moron....a reporter walked in to set them up...........

ABC-57 reporter Alyssa Marino’s editor sends her on a half-hour drive southwest of their South Bend studio, to the small town of Walkerton (Pop. ~2,300). According to Alyssa’s own account on Twitter, she “just walked into their shop [Memories Pizza] and asked how they feel” about Indiana’s new Religious Freedom Restoration Act.
Owner Crystal O’Connor says she’s in favor of it, noting that while anyone can eat in her family restaurant, if the business were asked to cater a gay wedding, they would not do it. It conflicts with their biblical beliefs. Alyssa’s tweet mentions that the O’Connors have “never been asked to cater a same-sex wedding.”
What we have here is — as we called in journalism school jargon — “no story.” Nothing happened. Nothing was about to happen.
If I were forced to mark out a story line, it would be this: A nice lady in a small town tries to be helpful and polite to a lovely young reporter from “the big city.”
In other words, Memories Pizza didn’t blast out a news release. They didn’t contact the media, nor make a stink on Twitter or Facebook. They didn’t even post a sign in the window rejecting gay-wedding catering jobs. They merely answered questions from a novice reporter who strolled into their restaurant one day – who was sent on a mission by an irresponsible news organization.

This is what you are going to cause....

DC shooter wanted to kill as many as possible prosecutors say - CNN.com

After years of thinking it over, Floyd Corkins finally had a plan.

He'd bought a gun and learned how to use it. He'd loaded three magazines. And he had stopped by Chick-fil-A to pick up 15 sandwiches, which he planned to smear in the dying faces of staffers he expected to kill at the Family Research Council in Washington.

Would it be against their religion to serve pizzas in prison? After all, there's lots of backdooring going on.

How many LGBTs have been bullied, beaten and killed by bigots? Hate crimes! The last thing LGBTs need is legislation saying they aren't equal.

What if the gay couple that wants to have their reception at the pizza parlor are Christians? Will a court have to decide whose version of Christianity is valid?

I thought the law didn't legalize discrimination?
It doesn't.
Sure it does. That is what the debate is all about. Unlike the Federal and other state laws, it gives private business the legal opportunity to discriminate against LGBT's. In all other states and under the Federal law this is not a problem because the laws only deal with government vs citizen situations and have specific laws protecting LGBT's. The Indiana law is purposely written and designed to classify discrimination as a right of private business. It portrays controversial religious beliefs as superseding rights of individuals to what many believe are rights covered under the 14 Amendment. The talking point that it does not allow discrimination was rejected before the bill even passed. That dog is just not running anymore and is pretty much ignored by everyone, but especially corporations that want nothing to do with the looming law suites that will occur when the law is implemented.

Good question.

I want to know what law applies if they are gay and black?

But gay, black AND Christian, That will really pose a problem for these folks.

I still can not imagine gay men have pizza for a wedding. Maybe some blue collar gay girls, but not gay men. So is this part of the war on women?

Irresponsible by whose standards? By yours, laughable.

Nutjobs exists on both wings because some folks on either wing cannot do the right thing, like the AK and IN legislatures. Legislatures do not have the authority to give business religious liberty to deny service to customers based on religious beliefs. The Founders would have stared in amazement.
