JERUSALEM – Israel's foreign minister said Sunday a peace deal with the Palestinians is impossible under current conditions and that Israel should pursue a lesser deal instead — a concept the Palestinians swiftly rejected.

The latest diplomatic spat between the two sides came as violence along the Israel-Gaza border simmered. After days of accelerated Palestinian rocket attacks on southern Israel and Israeli airstrikes in response, Israeli soldiers killed two Palestinians on the border early Sunday.

Avigdor Lieberman, the Israeli foreign minister, told a conference of Israeli diplomats that instead of a full peace deal, Israel should seek a long-term, interim agreement on security and economic matters. Palestinians have consistently rejected that approach.

"It's not only that it is impossible" to reach an overall agreement, he said. "It is simply forbidden."

I hereby recognize the sovereign State of Israel based on the tribal claims, at the time of the Judges, in the land then known as Canaan, 1400 to 1361 BCE.

The northern boundary; from the city of Tyre on the Mediterranean Sea east to a point 50 miles inland, through parts of Lebanon and Syria.

The Western boundary; along the shores of the Mediterranean Sea to the border with Egypt.

The southern boundary; the Egyptian border from the Mediterranean Sea in a straight line to the
city of Taba on the Gulf of Aquaba.

The eastern boundary; a straight line from the City of Taba on the Gulf of Aquaba northwest to the city of Ma an, in Jordan, turning north in a straight line to the city of Al Mafraq, in Jordan, and on to a point above the city of Al Qunaytirah where it shall intersect with the Israels new revised northern border, in Syria.

Peoples in the states of Jordan, Lebanon and Syria shall have to cede some land to Israel.

The sovereign State of Palestine is now free to draw it's borders outside of Israel's revised borders.

There it's done, live in peace and harmony.

Er, the League of Nations recognized the Jewish National Home in 1922 based on the historical connection between "Palestine" and the Jewish People

I've already posted the borders.

Now, you know.
