Israeli and U.S. Groups sued for $34.5 Billion For Funding Settlements

(COMMENT)

First Israel is not an "apartheid" state.

The US has given Lebanon over $100M in aid since 2006.

In a brief statement, the US State Department said it planned to provide $1 billion per year to Jordan for each of the US fiscal years for 2015, 2016 and 2017. The US fiscal year ends on September 30.

State department officials said the military aid was released to the authorities in Cairo about 10 days ago, after getting a green light from Congress.

For Egypt the funds - from the annual $1.5bn of chiefly military aid - will mainly be used to pay existing defence contracts. The US also promised it would provide 10 Apache attack helicopters for use by the army against militants in the Sinai peninsula.

All the Middle Eastern countries get some form of aid the US. But the US has to be careful that today's Arab Allies might well become anti-American for nearly any reason.

Ask the christians and muslims persecuted, Israel is defined as "jewish state" so it's Apatheid state.

I'm just glad someone reminded me to hurry up and make my donation. Taxes are coming up and I've been so focussed on getting those ever present deadbeats to pay up I almost forgot about my charitable deductions.

Work it just right and it can knock me down a bracket. ;--)

Oh and the lawsuit is bound to fail miserably.

Quote

In fact, U.S. Law currently allows U.S. Citizens to donate to the Israeli military directly – the only military on earth that U.S. Citizens are allowed to directly donate to. In addition, U.S. Citizens and groups are permitted to give tax-deductible donations to Israeli settlement construction project

End Quote

The donations are NOT AGAINST us law. The lawsuit will be dismissed

Come to think of it I should look up the end user of my donation and make sure they support building in the Samaria, Judea areas. Israel needs to solidify its hold on all of Israel and employ the GC to remove any remaining Arab Muslim hostiles.

So, what form of hasbara is it to file a legal complaint about perfectly legal donations to Israel ?

Nonsense. The Arab Muslims have brought the restrictions on themselves. Its completely up to them when the restrictions start easing up. All they need do is end the violence.

The lawsuit will fail by the way. Its perfectly legal to donate to these groups and get a deduction. Which is nice but I'd donate anyway even without the tax break.

What are the Elements of a Crime?
  • The elements of a crime are a series of components which must be present in order for it to be demonstrated that someone is guilty of a crime. The prosecution must provide supporting evidence to demonstrate that all of the parts of a crime are present in a given case and the defense can challenge the validity of a case on one or more elements. Different legal systems have different standards and some truly bizarre cases have arisen to test the legal definition of the elements of a crime.
  • Four key components must be present: intent, conduct, concurrence, and causation. Without one of these elements, a case can start to fall apart. This fact explains why sometimes the defense will freely admit to something which seems incriminating, only to still win the case; it accepts that one element was present, but denies other elements of a crime and uses these to deconstruct the prosecution's case.

Elements

1. The perpetrator committed an inhumane act against one or more persons.

Early in Israel's latest round of hostilities with Hamas, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu released a statement: "No country in the world [would] agree to suffer relentless missile attacks and infiltration attempts." His words have since been repeated frequently, usually in support (qualified or un-) of Israel's operation in Gaza.

There is an inarguable truth here: No country would sit idly by under such circumstances. Every state, and every citizen in those states, has a universally recognized right to self-defense.

3. The perpetrator was aware of the factual circumstances that established the character of the act.

4. The conduct was committed in the context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination by one racial group over any other racial group or groups.

Israel has no context of an institutionalized regime of systematic oppression and domination over the Palestinians. Not in the same context as the HAMAS Covenant or the Political Policy. Israel responded militarily to the volley of rockets from Gaza; and increased security countermeasure that followed terrorist attacks against civilian (noncombatants).

Israel is many times multi-cultural and ethnically diverse than any aspect if the Palestinians in the West Bank or Gaza Strip. There is no oppression or domination of any Israeli group over any racial group in the 1988 State of Palestine. There is no Palestinian demographic groups that are not found in Israel.

5. The perpetrator intended to maintain such regime by that conduct.
  • The State of Israel is attempting to maintain the regime called the Jewish National Home in the former Mandate and the Jewish State called Israel as recommended in the 1947 General Assembly Resolution 181(II).
6. The conduct was committed as part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against a civilian population.

The Administration of the the West Bank and Gaza Strip were a result of a conflict between Israel and the states of Egypt and Jordan. This conflict has been resolved by means of a treaty and the international boundaries established accordingly. There was no attack of the civilian population.

7. The perpetrator knew that the conduct was part of or intended the conduct to be part of a widespread or systematic attack directed against a civilian population.

Israeli and U.S. Groups sued for $34.5 Billion for funding construction of Israeli settlements

A group of Palestinians and Palestinian-Americans who have been victims of Israeli settlement construction filed a lawsuit this week to demand financial compensation from some of the companies, individuals and organizations responsible for funding the construction.

Israeli settlement construction takes place on illegally seized Palestinian land, and is considered a flagrant violation of international law and Israel's responsibilities under the Fourth Geneva Convention as an occupying power.

The U.S. Government has also condemned Israeli settlement construction – although a bill being considered by the U.S. Congress right now would make it illegal to boycott Israeli products that come from these illegal settlements.

In fact, U.S. Law currently allows U.S. Citizens to donate to the Israeli military directly – the only military on earth that U.S. Citizens are allowed to directly donate to. They did and won in US court, they also won the settlement against the PA but as I recall the award was so high it would have bankrupted the PA so somehow they got it waved.

IE the UN stepped in and prevented international law from being enforced.

Actually, the US should adopt a policy wherein we should gradually and cautiously back away from countries that support radical Islamic extremists, and terminate foreign aid packets to countries that have been opponents of US policy.

Yes, we should give money to Syria to take in all the "Palestinians", so they don't have to live under mean Jews.
(COMMENT)

Since the days of Yasser Arafat and the consummation of the Oslo Peace Accords in September 1993, at least 54 Americans have been murdered by Palestinian terrorist action.

The US needs to abort its donor activity and humanitarian efforts towards the Palestinians, and any country that still has failed to achieve a peaceful settlement with Israel. This would include both Syria and Lebanon.

Every country, including the 1988 State of Palestine, has the right to decide who their allies are and who the opposition might be. Both the US and the Palestinians have the right to pick and choose who their friends are. The US needs to avoid diplomatic entanglements with nations that present a clear and present danger to America, her citizens and interests.

Note: the Last American killed was Taylor Force; 9 March 2016 at the Port of Jaffa, when a Palestinian indiscriminate attacks against civilians at the Port entrance, and killing anyone in reach.
If the US involvement in the peace process is such a failure, the the US should abandon that effort until such time as a more effective strategy is developed. And during that development phase, the US should take what steps that are necessary to improve the defense of the Jewish National Home and preserve the stability and culture of the people.

Passively, the US should adopt a posture such that US immigration enforces visa limitations, and declines the nonessential travel of Arab Palestinians to America for any reason.

Most Respectfully,

Progress? You're referring to Arabs-Moslems who understand that the status quo includes the continuation of a UN funded welfare agency dedicated to their continued fraud.

The Arabs-Moslems posing as Pal'istanians share the same socio-economic and socio-political disease that afflicts their co-religionists throughout the Islamist Middle East. They understand that Arab dictators are the preferred alternative to Western style democracies and first world standards of rule of law as opposed to rule of Islamist mob.
