Gaza was attacking Israel back when it was called "Gath" and in the times of Goliath. Gaza was always a foe to Israel. This is why we gave the land away to the "Palestinians", removing our own settlers, leaving the settlements and irrigated land.

What did the "Palestinians" do when we gave that land to them?

They burned it all. The houses, settlements, animals, food, etc.
