ISIS destroys another Temple in Syria

Just shows what assholes and idiots ISIS has running it.

Those Ruins were a part of Syrian history and it goes to show how little those middle eastern dirtbags care about the glorious history of the region.

So which ancient Mesopotamian gods do you think we should build new temples for?

I would suggest... a temple for Ishtar deep in the desert... and a temple for Ereshkigal deep underground or within a massive cave system...

A great temple built over a river within a cave or underground would be beautiful for the primordial god Abzu... and one built somewhere near, above or within the raging seas would be beautiful for the primordial goddess Tiamat....

And for Marduk... an ideal location might be at the peak of a great mountain overlooking the desert...

Isis has made a point of destroying as much as possible, both human lives and the works of humanity. At some point, the rest of the world will come down on them and destroy them. And good riddance.

The destruction of ancient ruins once used to celebrate a beautiful polytheistic Weltanschauung was always inevitable with the rise and subsequent dominance of the monotheistic religions and their masses of indoctrinated followers who have come to possess little to no respect towards those religions that emerged before them.
