The controlled media is treating this as an "honest mistake" but if Trump or Cruz said it, it would be headline news and they would be crucified.

Salon And WSJ Delete Offensive Tweets: Here’s What A Twitter Fail Really Feels Like

sep a 2015 There’s a saying on Twitter: “Never tweet.” The Wall Street Journal and Salon.com may have a new appreciation for that pearl of modern wisdom this week after both outlets suffered pile-ons from scores of Twitter users over the same mistake: promoting inoffensive articles with offensive tweets.

In a tweet about Chinese President Xi Jinping’s political vulnerability, the Journal on Sunday made the ill-advised decision to ask whether he had “a chink in his armor.” Given the slang meaning of the word “chink” as an anti-Asian slur, Twitter users immediately began responding in disbelief, some asking whether the tweet was purposefully mocking Xi. It was deleted a few minutes later, but lived on through screenshots

Thats because they would have never apologized and doubled down on stupidity.

Apologizing is a sign of weakness. Men should never do it.
Seriously. It pisses me off when someone says something that needs to be said and then capitulates to demands for an apology. Conservatives need to stop feeding the outrage industry.
No one needed to say "chink" when talking about the Chinese president. They could have just as easily said his power was waning or getting weak. They apologized to people that may have been offended. It was the intelligent thing to do.

We do have a silly, hypersensitive culture right now.

I can only imagine the Twitter "outrage", too funny.

Decaf, maybe.

I have no idea. Pretty sure some Asians in this country did get offended. There is a reason 60% plus vote for the less racist party.

less racist is like the lessor evil, but they are still racist and evil.....why so many support either party is a mystery....
