Independents favor removal of Trump

This nation is stronger than ever. Everyone believing one ideal and one candidate equals a nation in decline. This new young generation of workers will ensure america stays the nation of the BY FAR hardest working most productive nation on Earth. Our current work ethic is unrivaled in the world.

this poll tells me that Trump will in re-election in a landslide --- possibly by 5 million votes....

i dont have any data to support it.....but just look at how excited people are at his rallies --- that is proof

Fox News has adopted a more anti-Trump agenda now that RINO Paul Ryan is on the board of directors. Their polls are becoming as unreliable as CNN's.
Such garbage. They don't conduct the polls, a third party does. And, of course, "anti Trump", in your eyes, means factual reporting.

ORLY?

How do you conduct your polls?

Fox News/Opinion Dynamics Polls are conducted via telephone through a process called 'random digit dialing'. Random sampling is the best way to select respondents that will be representative of the entire population. Fox News typically interviews approximately 900 people nationwide for its biweekly poll.

How do you conduct your polls?
Exactly. Contracted out to Opinion Dynamics. These are scientific polls.

Oh you gullible widdle booby.

The phrasing of the questions and the sampling easily manipulate results. Fox News is the client. They put their name on the poll results - they aren't disinterested in how they are conducted.

Independents are smarter than Republicans and much smarter than Democrats. Smart people will definitely favor Republicans on the issues. And after all this phony impeachment BS, the only smart thing to do is vote Republican.

Another Frightwringer lie. Independents actually favor keeping Trump and letting the next election decide. The impeachment bottom has fallen through the floor and the country is sick of it.

Exactly that. "Independent" doesn't always mean what people think it does. Members of the Socialist Party USA, Communist Party USA, and other fringe groups often consider themselves "independents", as do some Libertarians who didn't support Trump in the first place. I won't mention any names, but there are a few of them on this board.

Great! Then you can very specifically tell us how the phrasing of the exact question asked affected this poll result.

Or, you can admit that you are pulling things out of your ass, because the results make you gwumpy.

There are your choices. And...go!

I said wording and sampling. I don't have the poll questions, and don't care enough to research them. But a typical ploy is something like: if Trump colluded with the Ukranians to steal the election, should he be impeached?

You almost gotta scratch your head that democrats seem so confident but yet they can't wait for the election. What's going on?

I figured out how they gamed the poll - they overweighted for Dems - 42% solid vs. 37% for solid GOP. In reality, party affiliation between the two are about equal with Independents being far more prevalent.

Senate should remove Trump, majority of independent voters say in Fox News poll

Fox News impeachment poll finds most independents want Trump removed

Fifty percent told Fox News that Trump should be convicted and removed, and 44% said he should not. Registered voters' impeachment opinions largely fell along party lines, with 81% of Democrats favoring the president's removal and 84% of Republicans opposing it. Independents said Trump should be removed by a nearly 20-point margin, with 53% in favor of conviction and 34% opposed.

So what is you point? Do you think Trump will lose to Bernie? :auiqs.jpg:

He trails Bernie head to head

NONE of these people are "Independents." Their posts speak for themselves. If anything, these people are the MOST dependent! I have my ideas who some of these people are, if you want to PM me with your list, I'd be curious to see how many names I got right.

I could actually make the case that I'm a true independent. Not only am I registered that way, but I don't even like the GOP half the time. I don't support Trump or the Republicans because of the party they are in, I support them because they are the closest to what I feel is right for America, closest to being honest with me, and it has been a LONG time since the DNC put out anyone I could remotely claim that for.

Bernie people won;t stay home like they did last time.

Yes they will. They aren't going to vote for Biden or Fauxca. Obabble is not going to permit Bernie to be the Dem candidate.
Bernouts will stay home just like the Ron Paul fanboys did after the way he got shafted in '12....And this is will be a back-to-back shafting for ol' Batshit Bernie.

Best news I've heard all week. In Maine, that's almost 50% of voters. Next time around, I wonder if even the conservative Second District will give Trump an electoral vote.

I lived in Northern Central Maine 11 years. Try 95% liberal, that's no secret. There are 16 counties, one is Rep, rest dem. If 44% said No removal, they are Dems whom saw the truth in the bullshit impeachment.

They always do that and Rasmussen admitted and gave a reason in one of their latest polls. "Because there are more Dems than Reps"

Huh? So what? If one WANTS an honest reflection of what Dems or Reps think, poll equal.

Poll 60% Dems to 40% Reps, wtf would one expect for a result? What they WANT for a result is what.

Why would you poll equally between Dems and Republicans?
That will yield a result of 50/50

You take a random poll and let the chips fall where they may

He trails Bernie head to head

Remind us what the polls said for Hillary in 2016. What was it? Leading by 95%? Polls are about as worthless as can be.

They certainly were wrong in 2016. But that doesn’t mean polls are wrong all the time. Most presidential elections were correctly predicted by the polls

Is Trump going to run on the assumption that pols are always wrong?

That's not how proper poling is done. The sample should be statistically accurate for the voting pool. Otherwise, the poll would be as accurate as Drudge's clickbait ones.
