I'm Thinking About Voting for Trump

It comes down to this simple question. Did you like trumps Supreme Court picks? Then vote for him in 2020. If you want trump replacing RBG vote for him.

Toro, if you think democrats are worse then you are a republican. Either that or an idiot

Let's not forget, Toro was all for the Weird Mormon Robot in 2012.

Here's the problem. While a lot of Trump's supporters are mouth breathing racists, you still have the ones who are horrified by his conduct but are totally cool with the fact he's willing to let the rich abuse the rest of us...

I'm kind of horrified by Sanders, but I understand where he is coming from. For a lot of us, the American Dream isn't a thing. I think I've been lucky, I have a good job, a good side business and a nice home and vacation property.

And I realize I could probably lose it all with one serious injury or illness.

Who wants to live like that?

Curious but what do you see as the solution to the reality you could "lose it all with one serious injury or illness"?

I am a #NeverTrumper. Donald Trump is the most unqualified individual to ever be elected President.

But the Left is going Full Retard.

The policies that the Left are now promoting will make us look like France.

And that is unacceptable.

If we follow the far left turn of the Democrats, then we will become France but with bad food!
[Double checking to make sure this isn’t in Political Satire…]

‘The left’ isn’t running for president, ‘the left’ won’t be nominating anyone for president.

The Democratic Party, on the other hand, will be nominating a mainstream, middle-of-the-road corporate lapdog as they always have, someone funded by corporate America, someone beholden to corporate America, and someone whose policies will benefit corporate America.

And someone far more fit and capable than Trump to be president.
LoL Look who has already thrown their hat in the ring for DEM President. It's a who's who of Socialist anti-Americans. And there's still more than a year to go.
They're not socialists, retard.
You too old??

Hell No!!!

We Americans really suck at picking Presidential candidates.

Among the republicans who ran in 2016 who do you think could have done better than TRUMP and what do you think they could have accomplished? Keep in mind if Cruz, Rubio, Jeb or any of the others had won against Hillary it's likely they would be facing the same "resistance" from the democrats and MSM.

That sounds a lot better to me than living in massive apartment block and having no room to progress. And at least in America, you have the opportunity to divert your resources to receive the greatest health care on the planet if you do have a serious illness so you will stand a chance to recover.

A lot of places, most places, you'd be stuck in an economic mire regardless of your health.

BTW, Yogi Berra recommends the annoying duck's policies for insurance, there are other choices too for insurance, if you want to hedge against possible economic catastrophe from an illness or injury.

Sometimes who you vote against is more important than who you vote for.

dimocraps are scum

Republicans have such a strangle hold on the illiterates down south. They've convinced them blacks, liberals, mexicans, progressives and Democrats are the problem.

And for some reason no matter how broke they are they always vote GOP. Guns, gays and abortions are probably big factors.

But the fact is broke southerners are happy.

Polling by NPR finds that while rural Americans are mostly satisfied with life, there is a strong undercurrent of financial insecurity that can create very serious problems for many people living in rural communities.

The findings come from two surveys NPR has done with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health on day-to-day life and health in rural America.

After a major poll we did last fall found that a majority (55%) of rural Americans rate their local economy as only fair or poor, we undertook a second survey early this year to find out more about economic insecurity and health. The poll looked beyond the known factors of job loss and the decades-long flight of young people to more urban areas.

Several findings stand out: A substantial number (40%) of rural Americans struggle with routine medical bills, food and housing. And about half (49%) say they could not afford to pay an unexpected $1,000 expense of any type.

"People in this congressional district have the shortest life span in the United States; we also are the poorest," Davis says. "We're poor and we're sicker."

But, he adds, the Affordable Care Act — which in Kentucky brought an expansion of Medicaid to many previously uninsured residents — went a long way in helping many rural communities take care of recurring problems. "We're not out of the woods yet but the ACA certainly changed the landscape," Davis says.

Lots of rural people benefited from the ACA, he adds, and if that progress were to be lost, he says: "We're in trouble."

"When you're living close to the edge, sometimes you fall off," says Davis. "If half the people in rural America can't deal with a $1,000 bill, that's rough."

Yet even with the high levels of financial insecurity that we found, there is abundant optimism and satisfaction with the quality of life in rural America. Almost three-quarters (73%) of rural Americans rate the overall quality of life in their local community as excellent or good.

I was even thinking that myself. I mean if he gets sick and can't work, he's probably going to have to sell the vacation home. Maybe even downsize his main home.

But if that happens healthcare should not bankrupt him.

Have you ever had a love one die after a month in hospice and the insurance company sends you the bill where you can see how many hundreds of thousands of dollars it cost your insurance company? Would you be ok if we instead took the dying person's assets first and then charged the insurance companies whatever is left? This would lower the cost of insurance. Would you be open to this?

I could totally see Republicans pushing this approach. So no one, unless you are rich, or drop dead on the spot, will leave their love ones anything. If you take 3 weeks to die they will eat up whatever savings you have in a couple days.

Why should I have to do either. Why should I have to sell the property my dad built with his own two hands, because I got injured?

Leaving aside that 65% of bankruptcies ARE linked to medical crisis, and 75% of those people had health insurance.

My own experience, the one that changed me from being pretty conservative to being pretty liberal, was that I had an accident where I busted up my knee. While I lost little work time, I ran up a lot of medical bills.... And then my boss started screwing with my career to encourage me to work somewhere else before finally downsizing me.

The one major change I would make is to completely decouple health care from employment. It's too much of a burden on all involved.

Rubio is cute as a button and Jeb would have put us to sleep. No, not the same "resistance" would be put forth at all. They aren't xenophobes or lying con artists.

Universal Health Care.

Strong workers rights and the promise of workers' protection.

Wait I thought Obamacare was universal healthcare...

If your injury or illness isn't work related I'm not following what you expect worker rights and protections to do.

If the Left nominates

You’re not some high level corporate exec.. Those are the only ppl that Benefit from a corporate lapdog. Trump is the one president I’ve seen in my lifetime that isn’t beholden to the corporations. That’s a very good thing
No one is perfect and his results and methods are matters of one's opinion but only a fool would deny the guy is a hardcore America-Firster. I can live with that.

Rubio is adorable...No the resistance wouldn't be a strong as it is with TRUMP but that's only because it wouldn't have to be. Rubio got taken out of the running from Christie robot boy comment and later by TRUMP's little Marco. Rubio would have done better if he wouldn't have backed down when he went after TRUMP on his small hands. It was funny, but what did Rubio do...he broke down and gave in to the media pressure and apologized.
