I'm curious, why do USMB Republicans deny until the very end? And then beyond?

Senate GOP will lift block on subpoena power against BP

The Plum Line - Good: Senate GOP will lift block on subpoena power against BP

/thread

You asked how and when it was done. You were provided evidence of how and when it was done.

You got spanked and don't even know it.

Except that she wasn't. She was provided evidence that the Republicans did not allow the Senate to pass a bill by unanimous consent, they actually had to vote on it. Funny thing, when they voted, and everyone was sure it didn't contain a provision to allow Obama to declare war on Pakistan, it passed.

I rescind my advice about the baseball bat, I suggest you simply drive your car off a very high cliff, it would raise the IQ level of the entire universe by at least 2 points.

I think g5000 was talking to rdean.

Deano you are really whacked out. RP (Who was never a front runner for the republicans) said specifically that he never turned anyone down when he was a practicing physician, even before medicaid. No where in his statement can you twist it to "let him die".......

He said neighbors, friends and the churches took care of people before Medicare. Does that sound like "good healthcare" to you? Does that sound like something Republicans would do today? They would call it "socialism". And how many neighbors can take care of someone with a serious problem?

What is wrong with you people defending the indefensible. And you say I twist words???? You won't even listen to what he is actually saying. And remember, could the churches take care of anyone without the billions it gets from government? I linked to the Catholic Charities OWN report. Where are you guy's links?

Why don't you enlist?

Again?

Besides, I'm too old.

The 3rd Battalion 16th Field Artillery is a field artillery battalion in the United States Army. The unit's nickname is "Rolling Thunder" and their motto is "Macte Nova Virtute" (Go Forth With New Strength).

And, you're from my neck of the woods.
Thank you for your service.

That was the Unit Crest I wore. I still have them.

We used to yell out:

Good
better
best
never let 'em rest
until the good get better
and the better get best
WETSU Sir!

(Wetsu - we eat this shit up)

Never met a finer bunch of guys. And the stories I have. I should start a thread of Army Stories and see who can top mine. I was stationed in Baumholder, Germany, called the "Rock". They sent a lot of "bad boys" there and they were tough.

You must be deaf in at least one ear. Every Artillery guy I've met has been.

I served in Headquarters Battery and was a "Forward Observer" 82Charlie. The weapon of choice at that time was a "Theodolite". There wasn't all the fancy computer stuff or GPS. You took your azimuth and location from landmarks, the sun and the moon.

For the last year and a half, I worked in S2, Military Intelligence. They courted me, a lot, but I decided being an officer wasn't what I wanted. But it was an experience I recommend. For everyone. In fact, I've always thought they should bring back the draft and go after asswipes like Mitt Romney and make them serve and find out what it's like being with real people.

You're a fucking idiot and always have been. Republicans blocked Obama for months. Prove I'm wrong. You can't. Because I'm right and you are too stupid to know otherwise. I don't like calling people stupid, but you are. You are really a dumb ass.

And did you actually write out the words, "Funny thing, when they voted, and everyone was sure it didn't contain a provision to allow Obama to declare war on Pakistan, it passed."? See? Stupid. You.

It's what we always did before Medicare and Medicaid. Communities and community organizations such as churches took care of those in the community who could not take care of themselves...Not those who would not but could not. Your problem is that you don't see the difference.
