Just because 11 million people was able to enter the country illegally and hide in the shadows undetected by our government does not mean our immigration system is broken. It means our government is broken and legalizing the 11 million will not fix anything.

11 million law breakers (aka criminals) should not be given legal status just because they are here and that they have a child born here that has legal status before those millions who are waiting to enter by following our immigration laws. It is a slap in the face of every one of those millions waiting to enter legally. Poverty is no excuse to break the law.

Automatic Birthright Citizenship is a broken law that need to be interpreted and applied as written by it’s formers. One parent should be a U.S. citizen. It separate families.

Comp. Immig. Reform must fix our broken borders, our government, our visa system and enforce our already immigration laws. The penalty for illegal immigration is deportation and should never have been legalization.

Obama had the chance to fix the immigration system but chose to follow all the other presidents that came before him ignore illegal immigration and give another amnesty that will only lead to another amnesty in another 25 years. More secure border and more deportations is not enough.

Actually, President Obama has done more FOR the US than any other president in the past.

And, fact is, the Rs filibustered against instead of agreeing to debate any changes in our immigration laws or how to handle illegals.

Third, we now have a net zero number of illegals coming from the south, which is really all that most people think of when they consider "illegal immigration".

I'll never understand that. Don't people understand that we have three other and much bigger, open borders? Do they know that terrorists do not come from the south and that its the fault of the US that Mexico has become the gateway for drug cartels?

And finally, I would love to see proof that "illegal immigration broke our immigration system".

Simple solution, haul the corporation bosses, business bosses, and individuals off to prison.
Film all the arrests and cell conditions, and plaster them all over the 6 o'clock news.

See how many will employ illegals then.

All hell broke loose.
All staff, in all capital cities, surburban, and rural offices of the corporation had to provide proof that they were working legally in the country.

Birth certificate.
Marriage certificate.
Passport, work visa, citizenship certificate, permanent residency documents.
etc

Very large fines for employing illegal workers.

It's all very simple...IF the govt man wants it to be.
