I realize the cartoon was supposed to be sarcastic but I agree with the sentiments expressed there. Decisions that only apply to my health and safety should be mine alone to make. Ever see a person burn alive because they were trapped in a vehicle? I have. I'm not willing to risk going out that way.

Actually what is funny, is that we have seatbelt laws...even though there are cases of seatbelts causing deaths with accidents but besides this, don't we have airbags now? Are seatbelts even necessary------especially when I drive a mile down the road to the store going 30 mph?
