Still never had a punch.

Was never the same when he came back in 1970.
 
I think those three years were a joke. There were no serious contenders and he would have mopped up on bums for three years.

Saved himself some wear and tear and came back to beat some real contenders like Frazier, Norton and Foreman. His legend would not have been the same

What great fights did we miss in those three years?

37 KOs out of 56 fights and he didn't have punch?!

I'd like to have no punch like he had, too.

He wasn't known for that out of the blue knockout punch and tended to wear you down before he finally put you away. He did however, knock out Sonny Liston with a shot to the temple
