So I was wondering, what title should we give the president if we elect a republican?

No, not American loving nor patriotic--respect tradition, please. It has to be derogatory and over the top!!

Well, I already have one title that declares his credentials and beliefs: right wing nut

I am counting on you, this election cycle, to come up with additional titles for our would be right wing nut President.

"President" is fine.

I myself cannot refer to Obama by that title, as that would be TRULY satirical, and to burst out laughing after saying it would be rude. Having been a Boy Scout, I am if anything respectful.

I'm looking forward to 2017. I will enjoy saying the word once again.
