I was wrong! I've corrected the numbers and now where will we get $2.1 Trillion to $550 Trillion to fulfill Biden's "Guarantee"!

Proof to me the ERROR...who in the hell are you to criticize numbers that have been substantiated?
FACTS with LINKS not guesses!
In 2022, about 4,243 billion kilowatthours (kWh) (or about 4.24 trillion kWh) of electricity were generated at utility-scale electricity generation facilities in the United States. About 60% of this electricity generation was from fossil fuels—coal, natural gas, petroleum, and other gases. About 18% was from nuclear energy, and about 22% was from renewable energy sources.
Total power plants in the USA today: 11,000
Across the United States, over 11,000 utility-scale power plants deliver electricity to the nation's electric power grid.
.
How many kWh generated per plant per year: 4,243,000,000,000 kWh divided by 11,000 EQUALS 385,727,272 kWh total per year.
Biden's guarantee to "rid fossil fuels" means 2,544,000,000,000 of electricity destroyed by Biden...AND 526,360,300,580 Additional kWh from EVs.
A total of 3,070,360,300,580 kWh coming from somewhere!
Somewhere at 385,727,272 kWh per each power plant, OR 7,959 new power plants built!
Just a reminder..a new nuclear power plant costs about "takes 10 years to plan, secure land, meet regulations and build a nuclear plant.
Progress Energy has projected a cost with financing costs for 2 plants at about $13-14 billion.
Assume a new nuclear plant costs $3,000,000,000 to build or 7,959 new nuclear plants in 10 years at a cost of: $23,877,000,000,000 !
Do the math!
Biden guarantees to destroy 2,544,000,000,000 of electricity generated by 6,595 fossil fueled power plants by 2050!
How much electricity does a power plant generate?

Dummy can you not do the simple math:
Each of the 11,000 power plants...
generate 4,243,000,000,000 kWh per year. Divide 4,243,000,000,000 by 11,000 power plants..EQUALS...
385,727,272 kWh
NOW dummy divide total Additional EV electricity and Biden's destruction of OR 3,070,360,300,580 kW by 385,727,272 kWh
What do you get?: ----- 7,959 new power plants ! if you build a new nuclear power plant costs about $3 billion... times 7959 or $23 Trillion!
Simple math and you still don't get it!

Proof to me the ERROR...

Ok, moron.

About 18% was from nuclear energy,

18% is nuclear, from 93 reactors. Each reactor is about 0.2% of total electrical production.
0.2% x 93 ~ 18.6%. See? To get 100% from nuclear.....500 x 0.2% = 100%. See?
Looks like we need to build about 400, not 8000.

How many kWh generated per plant per year: 4,243,000,000,000 kWh divided by 11,000 EQUALS 385,727,272 kWh total per year.

Why would we need nuclear reactors that small?
Each current reactor generates about 8 billion kWhs.

Your link in post #62......

Shows the smallest reactor in the country generates almost 5.1 billion kWh at full capacity.

Dummy can you not do the simple math:

Damn, you're hilarious!

What do you get?: ----- 7,959 new power plants ! if you build a new nuclear power plant costs about $3 billion... times 7959 or $23 Trillion!

400 times $3 billion or $1.2 trillion.

I showed you just above in POST#70. You need 13% more Watts. If you have 100 plants right now you need 13 more (or increase output from existing).

copy****
Bottom Line: Power generation would need to increase 550TW/4243TW or ~13%.
Therefore, If it took 100 PWR plants to get 4243...you would need 113 total PWR plants to increase 13%?
Additional 13 more PWR plants required in the example. Or increase 13% more power from existing sites.
I think that is right? quick look at it.

He's an idiot.

You have 4200TW available right now. I calculate (from your numbers) You will need ~550TW additional to charge EV.

How many more plants do you need for ~550TW new power?
Approximately 13% more power required, Where do you get it?
NEW or EXISITNG (with boosted output). As simple as I can make it.

I agree. more electrical power is needed.
But at a capital cost of $1,200 to $5,000 or average of $3,100 per kW to provide the additional 3,070,360,300,580 kWh for EVs and Biden's destruction of
fossil fuel plants, 3,070,360,300,580kWh /365 days/24 hours/day or 350,497,751 kW @ $3,100/kW)=$1,086,543,028,744
where will the $1,086,543,028,744 come from?
Comes from us consumer households of which 123 million will have to pay either directly or indirectly through goods/services by businesses.
Average payment for this $1,086,543,028,744 paid by 123,000,000 households or $8,834/12 months or $736/month added on to our electric bills.
Now mind you this is adding to existing power plants...assuming rules, regulations, Federal/state/local allow AND there is available land to expand.

Never argued with NEW EV requirements!
But remember this:
I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019, 5:49 PM

You seem to forget that Biden guarantees fossil fuel power plants will be "rid of".
There are over 3,400 fossil fuel-fired power plants in the United States.
These fossil fuel plants provide 60% of the electricity or 2,554,000,000,000 of the total USA 4,243,000,000,000 output.
That is the biggest problem. Biden is actively working on "riding fossil fuels" and guess who's going to pay to replace fossil fuel plants?

Is it an idiot named healthmyths?

IN the meantime.... what will you do when the average set of 4 new tires as your EV tires will wear out faster because your EV weighs about 30% more than ICE cars.
The typical cost to replace 4 tires is estimated to be $370 to $1600 and above

Someone will figure it out. EV is relatively a new market. EV cars appear to be more expensive than regular gas using cars. So its not surprising that something new is expensive. Price will go done as more company jump in if the market holds.

tomorrowstechnician.com/bridgestone-debuts-first-ev-specific-tire/#:~:text=Bridgestone%20Americas%20%28Bridgestone%29%20has%20debuted%20its%20new%20Turanza,resistance”%20and%20improves%20vehicle%20handling%20and%20driving%20dynamics.

Bridgestone says, so it developed its first EV-specific replacement tire that protects range and improves durability.

EV tire incorporates 50% renewable and recycled materials using synthetic rubber associated with recycled plastic. Looks like to find some way to use recycled plastic.

Tire range from 222 to 591 dollars . Yes they do cost more than the other tires. Still it less than what your quoting.

Bottom line the EV cars are still relatively a new market and as more EV hit the road then prices will be more competitive as more manufactures jump into the market.

Interesting proposal aimed at recycling something that can be recycled and there is an abundance of material just sitting around doing nothing.

The issue is he “guarantees to rid fossil fuels whether now or 2050! Which is totally stupid! He guarantees to destroy an industry. What will replace the 300 million barrels used to make 2 billion tires? Or replace 95% of asphalt used to drive on roads?
These plus 6,000 other products that use oil .

And remember 60% of the 4.2 Trillion kWh electricity is generated in USA from what Biden guarantees to rid.."fossil Fuels"!

No, not now. 30 years into the future. Exactly how brain-dead are you to think he was talking about himself getting rid of fossil fuels?

Regardless, you're intentionally misquoting him. You know hevsaid more than you post yet you continually post that edited video in order to alter the context of what he actually said.

Said that you can't help yourself from being dishonest.

I was wrong. There folks. Does that make you feel better?
So I've relooked at the numbers and found some mistakes I made.
One mistake was I didn't take in consideration of the following guarantee..
"I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019, 5:49 PM

Now this dummy.... hasn't either figured out or just too dumb to realize.. over 60% of CURRENT 4.2 trillion kWh of electricity a year
comes from Fossil fuels! What a total ignorant statement.
Now some of you excuse this by saying "well Biden has said it will take till 2050!... WOW!
In the meantime..we as consumers will pay either directly through our increased electricity bills or through the costs of goods/services by the
businesses that will simply pass on their increased electricity costs... either way we will PAY!

So to repeat.. I was wrong with the prior analysis that frankly evidently was too complicated for a majority of people to follow and that is my mistake.
Hopefully this is more clear that the USA will need to spend anywhere from $2.1 trillion to $550 trillion to build Solar, wind or nuclear plants to
replace 60% of current electricity coming from Biden's guaranteed to rid "fossil fuels" AND the additional nearly 1/2 trillion for EVs!
Where will this money come from?View attachment 807535

It’s not that much electricity DeMatteis once you take into account their plan to depopulate the planet and force most of the survivors to live in the Dark Ages

Unfortunately Politian's do make promises and they do embellish. Biden is no different.

Trump and every president previously may promises that they could not deliver so it is nothing earthshattering, it just he is the current president.
"Rid fossil fuels" IS EARTHSHATTERING! This idiot has NO idea of the impact "fossil fuels" has on civilization.
This idiot reminds so much of the future as described in "Idiocracy"!

Dishonest? How about this "dishonesty"! Biden suggest to Drink Bleach and you blame Trump! Trump never used the word "bleach" but here are Biden's exact words..
Biden said "maybe if you drank bleach you may be okay".

You are right! 7,959 power plants at $3 billion is $23 trillion and 400 times $ 3 billion is $1.2 trillion.
So? According to this table: Nuclear generated in 1 year..772,000,000,000 kWh
As of May 25, 2022, there were 54 commercially operating nuclear power plants with 92 nuclear power reactors in 28 U.S. states.
772,000,000,000 kW in 2021 divided by 94 plants equals 8,212,765,957 per plant.
Now Biden destroys 2,554,000,000,000 kWh fossil fuel plants... plus will need
58,101,100,200 kWh for cars AND
467,685,949,987 kWh for trucks.
2,540,668,300,000 for destroyed fossil fuels
3,066,455,350,187 kWh will have to be generated by 373 nuclear power plants at $3 billion each or $1,120,130,063,212
So where is that $1.1 Trillion coming from for the 373 nuclear plants?

Fair enough. Biden should have said, inject bleach.

"Rid fossil fuels" IS EARTHSHATTERING! This idiot has NO idea of the impact "fossil fuels" has on civilization.

Hopefully soon they will have a pill for those who want to keep fossil fuels. The NZC pill. Users will be stuck in 1955 that will last forever. They will hum the happy days song and work in the coal mines. The record will repeat again and again. People will pass him by and say he looks so content.

LOLOLOLOLOLOL

Now the cost is only $1.1 trillion??

What a bargain! It was supposed to cost us $550 trillion, according to your figures.

$1.1 trillion is only about half of this year's deficit. We can easily afford that. So why have you been crying like a baby?
