I was wrong! I've corrected the numbers and now where will we get $2.1 Trillion to $550 Trillion to fulfill Biden's "Guarantee"!

Total EVs and replacing fossil fuel generators will require 3,070,360,300,580 kWh divided by 876,000 kWh (your figures..)
will require 3,504,977 power plants. Wow...
Replace every fossil fuel plant?
"3,070,360,300,580 kWh" required? don't know where this number came from? I am working here!
wow. That looks high. That is 3070x10e+12 or 3070 Trillion KWh?
3.504 million new plants? how many do we have now?

I was wrong. There folks. Does that make you feel better?
So I've relooked at the numbers and found some mistakes I made.
One mistake was I didn't take in consideration of the following guarantee..
"I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019, 5:49 PM

Now this dummy.... hasn't either figured out or just too dumb to realize.. over 60% of CURRENT 4.2 trillion kWh of electricity a year
comes from Fossil fuels! What a total ignorant statement.
Now some of you excuse this by saying "well Biden has said it will take till 2050!... WOW!
In the meantime..we as consumers will pay either directly through our increased electricity bills or through the costs of goods/services by the
businesses that will simply pass on their increased electricity costs... either way we will PAY!

So to repeat.. I was wrong with the prior analysis that frankly evidently was too complicated for a majority of people to follow and that is my mistake.
Hopefully this is more clear that the USA will need to spend anywhere from $2.1 trillion to $550 trillion to build Solar, wind or nuclear plants to
replace 60% of current electricity coming from Biden's guaranteed to rid "fossil fuels" AND the additional nearly 1/2 trillion for EVs!
Where will this money come from?View attachment 807535

Won't cars be illegal at some point?

Problem solved.

:)

I used YOUR figures...
Replace every fossil fuel plant?
How many power plants are there in the United States?
As of December 31, 2021, there were 24,645 electric generators at about 11,925 utility-scale electric power plants in the United States. Utility-scale power plants have a total nameplate electricity generation capacity of at least 1 megawatt (MW). A power plant may have one or more generators, and some generators may use more than one type of fuel.

How sad you still rely on a misleading edited video clip which cuts out the part where Biden acknowledges it won't be him ending fossil fuels.

:itsok:
Doesn't make a difference if HE does IT! He is guaranteeing it!
"I guarantee We Are Going To Get Rid of Fossil Fuels” September 06, 2019, 5:49 PM

By the way, what is his "guarantee"? If he hasn't gotten rid of "fossil fuels" by 2050... what is his payment to us?
I mean the President "GUARANTEES" something!!!
But you know I really don't care about his "guarantee"... Why can't you comprehend what kind of price increases that dumb ass
guarantee did to RAISE our gas prices?
I don't think you comprehend how businesses are constantly looking as to raise their profits.
Oil companies are now different!
Read what the CEO of Chevron Mike Wirth predicts when Biden gets rid of "fossil fuels"!
"You’re looking at committing capital 10 years out, that will need decades to offer a return for shareholders, in a policy environment where governments around the world are saying, ‘We don’t want these products.’
Why should any entity buy oil stocks, or lend money if the Federal government is working to "rid fossil fuels"?

Biden’s Radical, Anti-Fossil Fuel Energy Policy Costs Americans Dearly

To date, Biden is the only president in modern history not to have held a single oil and gas lease sale on federal lands despite clear direction from Congress to do so quarterly.
But here, Biden is attempting to engage in his own alternative history—a counterfactual scenario that is just as fictional. High gasoline prices are just part of his “incredible transition” away from the fuel that supplies 35% of Americans’ total energy needs and 90% of Americans’ transportation fuel needs.

Replace every fossil fuel plant?
FACTS, Figures...proof!
Per the below..Biden wants to get rid of fossil fuels, that provide 60% of electric power plants fuel.
Or, 60% of 4,240,000,000,000 which is 2,544,000,000,000 kWh used by American households and businesses.
See below... fossil fuels 60.2% of 4,243,000,000,000 kWh equal to 2,544,000,000,000 kWh !

Nuclear is 772 billion kWh? How many reactors is that?

Nuclear is 772 billion kWh? How many reactors is that?
So I did what you could do... I asked Google: "Nuclear is 772 billion kWh? How many reactors is that?"

Again something you could do: 5 Fast Facts About Nuclear Energy
Answers:
  • U.S. nuclear power plants generated 772 billion kilowatt hours of electricity in 2022
  • There are currently 92 commercial reactors helping to power homes and businesses in 28 U.S. states.
Hmmm how complicated the Internet is!

So why didn't you use the real numbers, instead of using the math example?

Your errors would have been much, much smaller.
I've been waiting since this morning for you to get a clue.

So today your tally is that it will take 84,000 new Nuclear power plants

84,119 new nuclear power plants.

Yeah...you're full of shit.

84,119 new nuclear power plants.

Yeah...you're full of shit.

He has no grasp on logic.
92 current reactors produce almost 20% of our current electricity.
Fewer than 500 should be enough for all our current electrical needs.
He said, on another error filled OP, that we'd need 113% more power
for all the electric cars and trucks to replace ICE cars and trucks.

Call it 565 on top of 500. Fewer than 1100 total.

Off by a factor of 75.

He's done worse.

You know you make totally unsubstantiated comments that any simpleton like ME... can get the facts! So what's that make YOU?
OK... let's try this again for you and cottonbrain!
A) The plan is that between now and 2032, 67% of new cars we be EVs 17,245,800.
Each of these cars average about 13,476 miles per year from this source:https://www.thezebra.com/resources/driving/average-miles-driven-per-year/
That's a total of 232,404,400,800 miles/year... do you understand where that number came from?
The 2022 Tesla Model 3 RWD: 25 kWh/100 miles or .25 kWh/mile. Make sense? Now I know this is getter more complicated..
Multiple 232,404,400,800 miles by .25 and you get: 58,101,100,200 kWh more per year for the current 11,070 power plants
that create 4.2 Trillion kWh per year. So now we add another 58.101 Billion kWh...
B) But wait... that was EV cars... TRUCKS according to the EPA plan 46% of all trucks sold will be EVs. That will be 5,498,953
trucks driving annually 45,000 miles at a 1.89 kWh per mile for average EV Truck or a total of 467,685,949,987 kWh for trucks.
C) So again I know this is complicated but add :
  • 58,101,100,200 kWh for cars AND
  • 467,685,949,987 kWh for trucks.
  • 2,540,668,300,000 kWh that Biden's guarantee's to rid fossil fuels that provide 61% of our electricity meaning we will need:
  • 3,066,455,350,187 Total kWh needed by 2032 for new EV cars/trucks and Biden's destruction of fossil fuel plants.
D) So using what limited brain cells you have, do you understand... EV Cars/Trucks will need nearly 1/2 trillion kWh per year!
E) Now this is where people like you get confused: The USA has and here is the link:
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) in 2022, 4,240,000,000,000 kWh per year was created by 11,070 total power plants in usa.
F) Divide 4,240,000,000,000 kWh by 11,070 total power plants in usa Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) - U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), You get an average of 376,244,806 kWh per plant. Do you agree?
G) The total of 3,066,455,350,187 kWh will have to come from nuclear/solar/wind at 376,244,806 kWh per plant.
This will mean that a total of 8,150 new power plants will be needed to add additional 526 billion kWh for EVs and to replace the 2.54 Trillion kWh Biden guarantees to destroy.
Now for more FACTS:
It costs $7,500,000,000 per nuclear power plant Why America abandoned nuclear power (and what we can learn from South Korea)
H) Folks I know you can't handle the figures but honestly this is the FACT: $61,126,199,679,060 to build 8,150 plants!
It's just too bad that the EPA, Biden and idiots like you can't face the reality!
This is reality.

He's guaranteeing it in the sense he sees where we'll be in the 30 years. He'll be out of office anytime between now and January, 2029. He clearly can't guarantee it will certainly happen.

And for some reason [cough, cough], you keep posting that edited video; which you KNOW is edited. Cutting out the part where he says renewable energy will replace fossil fuels by 2050. Yet you keep posting it anyway.

LOLOL

So now you claim the cost is $31 trillion. But in your OP, you claimed it was $550 trillion.

Like I always warn you -- stop playing with numbers. You hurt yourself everytime you try.

It was 84,000...now it is 8,150. Somehow we've disposed of needing 75,000 or so new power plants in the last 24 hours. Technology is moving fast let me tell you.
