The union leaders are hard core democrats even though the dems stopped all pipeline work, and a lot of other work with all their crazy regulations. The dems also kept the globalist outsourcing going moving factories overseas.
Trump shakes work loose, and brings jobs back to the US.
Union workers love Trump, no matter what their union leaders say.

Airlines like Southwest and American are switching passenger service work at LAX away from union contractors, leaving some workers with fewer protections, inadequate healthcare and unreasonable workloads that call worker and passenger safety into question. Not acceptable. If we're going to rebuild the middle class in America we must support the trade union movement

I'm under the belief that us baby boomers can't disassociate union leaders with organized crime. So I see where Trump is coming from with his statement.
