and all Democrats want to do is feed it? After all, isn't that the reason there's no veteran's care, infrastructure improvements, food stamps and unemployment for the poor and so on?

Nah...they don't care.

The House voted 274-131 on Friday to permanently extend and expand the research and development tax credit that expired at the end of last year.

The bill championed by the business community would cost $156 billion over 10 years with no offset.... The research and development credit, which has been extended on a short-term basis roughly 15 times over the last 30 years or so, expired at the end of last year, along with more than 50 other tax breaks.

Once again for the low information left, the federal government never made a dime in the history of the great republic. The corporate community ain't your enemy. Corporations keep the government running. It's dishonest to say that the lack of a tax increase is a burden to the government. The freaking federal government would squander 156 billion on several golf outings and fashion trips for the Obamas if they could get away with it. The gigantic, let me say it again, gigantic bloated federal government needs to cut spending by ten times 156 billion and it wouldn't make a difference in food stamps or infrastructure.

Democrats understand that if you create jobs and make the ultra rich pay their fair share, the deficit will take care of itself.

If you lose your job you won't keep your house if you just stop spending. You need to have money coming in.

That's why we need to create jobs. Democrats understand this.

GOP's Claim That House Passed 30 Jobs Bills? Bogus

Republicans trick their moronic base into believing they are trying to pass jobs bills by naming every single bill a "jobs" bill. And their idiot base believes it. Couldn't ya just die?

The sequester was sold by the Republicans the exact same way. It actually did kind of make a difference.

I Thought There Was A Massive Deficit
There is. And until the government somehow manages to adopt a balanced budget, meaning zero deficit, the national debt will only continue to rise.

That is all well and good but the point of this thread is that the Republicans are just a bunch of hypocritical scum. Thoughts?

So now 656 million in deficit spending and counting is a success?
The bar sure has been lowered.

Kind of not understanding the thread here. Was it not simple enough for you?

Apparently, comprehension isn't your friend. Go back and read the friggin' title again....sloooowwwwllly.

Hypocrites?? For wanting to balance the budget?
The President’s Budget Keeps Getting Worse

WASHINGTON*—Today, the Congressional Budget Office released its analysis of the President’s fiscal year 2015 budget. Based on CBO’s analysis, the President’s plan would increase spending by $1.1 trillion and raise taxes by almost $1.4 trillion over the next ten years. And unlike the House Republican plan, his budget would never balance—ever. Instead, it would run a $746 billion deficit in fiscal year 2024. Under CBO’s revised estimate, the President’s budget deficits would be $1.6 trillion higher than what he presented to Congress last month.
