I think you mean nontheism, Matthew. Nonreligious is different from areligious.

Being anti-anything tends to beget more of the same coercion and conflict
as you are railing against. It is better to be neutral and inclusive, like the Buddhists who can work with any group as can the Universalists, rather than reactionary and stir up more war.

Dear Sunni: Since the whole of Islamic practice is supposed to include following the Jewish Torah and Christian Scriptures, along with the Muslim Quran, then technically Islam should be a Christian denomination, similar to the Messianic Jews which is a Baptist denomination.

If any Muslim is adverse to Christianity, you are not following the whole of Islam anyway, similar to Christians who aren't true to their faith but corrupting or abusing it.

Like the Messianic Jews who are Christian and also keep their Jewish traditions and heritage,
the main distinction between Muslim and Christian practice should be just the physical and cultural traditions in the services and ceremonial practices, but the spirit of the laws should be one in Christ. There should not be division if the Muslims are following Scripture as called.
