Though President Bush has strayed from the founding principles of the nation from time to time, he lowered our taxes, protected our nation, had a better unemployment rate on average than Bill Clinton, stock markets flourished more so than under Clinton, interest rates have been historically low and expanded freedom to millions in oppressed nations. Pretty good record Mr. President!

No, under a Marxist ideal the private property is eliminated so that there is no need to “spread the wealth”. The haves providing for have not’s is more Utilitarian than Marxist. For a Marxist society to exist the most important thing is the elimination of scarcity, that’s why Marxism is a pipe dream, so long as there is scarcity a true Marxist or “communist” society can’t exist.

Karl was theorizing on what type of society would exist after industrialization had eliminated scarcity and the need for the concept of private property rather than the prohibition on private property. Karl’s so called “scientific socialism” was all based on what would happen after capitalism ran its course and eliminated the need for private property.
