Actually most Jews stayed, so there is that. They converted; only those that didn't left, and only about 1,200 were ever brought before an Inquisition court, and of those about 600 were convicted, and most of those were allowed to leave, and a few were burned in effigy, out of a total of about 10,000. Most were Muslims, and more Protestants that Jews were charged. Stop believing the scare stories and old Protestant anti-Catholic propaganda bullshit.
