Those of us who lived in NYC in the 1990s could not help but follow Trump's highly publicized bankruptcies and mafia and Russian money connections, or at least were aware that the city banks had declared him persona non grata. We knew.long before he decided to run for Presidential exactly what an utter conman he was.

Of course Trump did manage to transform himself for awhile into a popular low-class TV program host. He did sell and brand his “name” and associate with mafia types attracted to his image. Some had known him from the old days when he was actually building hotels in NYC with his own or his father’s money.

Outside of NYC suckers seemed mesmerized by his rich “image” as a billionaire. He refined and his skill speaking provocatively — like an ordinary man — on most any subject … to win popularity. He had always been a star of NYC’s “tabloid press” like the Enquirer and the Globe and other gossip media columnists.

So yes, none of this is new to us New Yorkers who really knew the man, watched him through his many affairs, marriages and bankruptcies, knew his track record and his totally narcissistic personality.

We warned the nation, but nobody was interested in the warning of liberal New Yorkers — certainly none of the suckers who are still in his cult or gravitating around it anyway.
