This is my attempt to inject a little bit of intelligence into an otherwise daily bitchfest. One thing i've found about the Trump haters, which is the exact mirror opposite of the Trump soldiers, is that they've got either one of two options to bucket Trump's words or actions into:
1. Stupid. Trump is such a dumbass. He's literally got the IQ of a 3rd grader. What is he thinking? Scratch that, he doesn't think.
2. Evil. Trump is an evil dude, he wants to take people's right away, he wants to separate kids from families, kill black people, etc.
It can't be both really, because along with evil usually comes a level of intelligence. To claim he's evil and therefore he's supporting or pushing a policy because it's a means to his evil ends suggests a level of intelligence that betrays the idea that Trump is just next level stupid.
So, when your political life is ruled by hate for Trump, you bucket anything he says or does into one of the two categories above so it can be painted in a negative light. Even better, some of them can fit into both buckets. Anything to prevent yourself from having to actually think critically about what's going on and devise a consistent, realistic picture of what Trump actually is... because that would actually require you to give Trump some credit here and there for various things, or admit that what he said or did at some point really wasn't a big deal. And we all know we can't have that, cause everything needs to be of hysterically grave importance in the name of almighty government.
