House tea partiers snub GOP in 2014

It is the time of choosing sides. Fence sitting is not an option.

100% correct. The far right is going down again like it did in the later 1960s.

We can't have those freaks running the GOP.

If the patriots lose they must change tactics. More sabotage, Snowden type espionage, undermining, obstruction, asymetrical attacks. Edward Snowden alone, did more good than Mike Lee and Ted Cruz put together. Turn the world against the democrats. Democrat is already synonomous with the word stasi. Make it as despised as Nazi. Create doubt, distrust. We're halfway there already without even trying.

Encourage more companies to leave taking the industry away. Encourage investments away.

Democrats can't just lose. This is the time of choosing sides, they are the enemy and must be obliterated.

The above is a good example of the idiotic extremism contributing to the GOP’s woes.

80% of America hates your side, Katzndogz. You can't win.

Here in Utah we are going after the TeaPs and the Eagle Forum.

Mike Lee is down to 43% among GOP with a solidly 55% opposing him. Thank heavens.

One, the solid GOP is working for the Count the Vote initiative that will break the back of the far right control of the caucuses and primaries. Chaffetz and Stewart and Bishop are bug-eyed right now.

Two, the instate monies will go to more moderate candidates to challenge them if they don't shape up.

Three, there is no mercy for Mike Lee. We are determined that he will be a one-term senator to be returned to Utah in disgrace.

Wait, you're from Utah and you still claim you're not a Mormon.

I'll believe it when I see it. Lee doesn't come up for a vote again until 2016.

2014 will be the critical year for whether the Teabaggers are turned back. If they do well in the primaries and make gains in the Senate, probably nothing is going to stop them from nominating Ted Cruz in 2016.

That's kind of crazy talk, given most of what Snowden exposed were policies Bush started.

They aren't policies that Bush started. They are eventualities Bush noted but it took obama to implement them. Democrats in the US can dream up any orgasmic wet dream they want. None of it does a single thing to change foreign opinion and foreign heads of state are linking up against obama. It wasn't Bush that ended a relationship with Saudi Arabia that existed since 1932, that was obama. It wasn't Bush who got our diplomats expelled from Brazil, that was obama. It wasn't Bush that betrayed Mubarak, that was obama. It wasn't Bush that supported the muslim brotherhood in Egypt, that was obama.

What we need is a few more Edward Snowdens.

The GOP is dead.
Not a penny for GOP candidates from tea party coiffers.

2014 is yours libs.
You will have the house, the senate and the whitehouse.

The tea party will sit back and watch your insanity screw America.

The American people will vote tea party once they suffer the consequences of voting Liberal.

Your insane radicalism will put reason back in politics come 2020.

You are missing a big point; younger people are not nearly as much about themselves as the baby boomers. They are more concerned with the overall welfare of society. An awful lot of people are tired of seeing greed rule the day. That doesn't mean everyone is becoming a socialist or communist like so many of you nutters insist. It's just a change in the way the average American views our responsibility toward each other and society as a whole.

And you are missing a big point; baby boomers are not self-centered narcissists (as a whole), bb were taught self reliance and personal responsibility. We don't expect, nor want, a government that thinks so little of it's citizens that it brainwashes them into thinking it knows what's best for them vs. they know what is good for themselves. IMO, this government views American citizens as brainless sheeple, incapable of making their own decisions. You should be insulted by this, not thrilled. A prime example of this is when the democrats forced the shutdown, national parks that were paid for many years ago, were closed. Park rangers were to to make sure the people felt the impact. Reid et al. absolutely refused to negotiate and began the name calling of Americans that didn't agree with them. Pathetic, insulting, and disrespectful.
As far as "allowing" the poor to suffer, there have been programs in place for years focused on helping the able bodied person to improve their life circumstances; however
they found it's easier to be on welfare instead of getting out there and working. And if you can't get by on 1 job, get a second. I did it and so did many other bb's. You learn the value of a dollar and how to budget money. And that's also a big problem with the gov't, right? They aren't earning the money they use to pay bills and a lot of $$ go unaccounted for.
No one has yet explained how Taxed Enough Already is a bad thing. All I read here is the the TP are"nutjobs" "terrorists" and so on. As if fiscal responsibility and small gov't is a bad thing.
Read Animal Farm sometime; it's less than 100 pages long. Then sit back and pay attention to how the gov't is treating Americans, particularly since the implementation of Obamacare. They are forcing us into an insurance nightmare that they refuse to enroll into themselves. "All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others." Orwell

Ignorant partisan nonsense.

The surveillance programs date back to the 70s, authorized by the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act of 1978.

These programs were fostered by all subsequent administrations, both democratic and republican – that’s why your partisan claim is idiocy.

Under GWB these programs were expanded and augmented under the auspices of the PA and similar security measures.

The surveillance programs exist at the behest of the American people, enacted into law by Congress, they are both legal and Constitutional.

During the Reagan/Bush and GWB years there wasn’t a peep from you or anyone else on the right about the legitimacy of the programs; indeed, after 9/11 most on the right were instrumental in expanding the authority and scope of the surveillance.

Now that a democratic president is in office the programs suddenly become ‘an issue’ for the right.

JoeB, as usual, is not aware.

I retired to Utah last December and announced so. I had been in the South for thirty years and more before that.

Yes, Lee will run again in 2016 and will be defeated in the primaries.

Only in your fantasies will Ted Cruz be nominated to anything.

More than 40% of us in Utah are non-Mormon, JoeB.

I am sorry that girl spiked your heart so long ago, but you deserved it and the beating you got from the Mormon boys.

Mubarak wasn't "betrayed".. we just recognized the reality that his position had become untennable.

It's always the same cry... "If only we had intervened to save Mubarek or the Shah or Somoza or Marcos, things would have been different."

Yeah, they'd be different. We'd be immeshed in someone else's civil war.

Guy, I wouldn't fuck a mormon chick with your dick. '

Again, until you establishment types actually beat a teabagger instead of waiting for a Democrat to do it for you, then I'll take you seriously.

Despite the wishful thinking on the radical left everyone has to admit that Tea Party people are highly politically motivated. They won't stay home on election day and they won't vote for a democrat under any circumstances. What does that tell you? Tea Party people will continue to elect republicans and they will try to do better in the next election to get a better candidate? What are democrats doing? Holding their noses and voting or staying home and whining about the unfairness of only controlling 2/3 of the government

Poor Jake, you gave us John McCain....Bob Dole....and said be happy.
We said fuck you and the hore (freudian?) horse you rode in on.

You then threw up (no pun intended) Romney hoping we'd swallow that jizz....fuck you again.

We mainstream Republicans gave you Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Reagan, Bush the Elder and Bush the Younger. They could not have been elected by the far right reactionaries.

Understand, reactionary TPM, your voice does not count in the long run. You learned that in the elections of 2012, again in the last month, and you will next year.

Now run along, real adult Americans are talking here.

Mainstream republicans helped get us into this mess, sans Gingrinch's "Contract with America." The TEA Party, you know, the Taxed Enough Already folks, are sick of politics as usual from both parties. Reactionary?? You bet! Since you apparently refuse to read my post & discuss issues in a mature manner (like the leftists, you prefer to name call and insult), I will argue there are few adults on this thread.

If you believe the democrats forced the shutdown then you're not ready for Animal Farm yet.

I'm a Sociologist and Animal Farm is studied and extensively discussed in my profession. Please explain how the recent treatment democrats (and some RINO's) extended towards American citizens, does not reflect Orwell's depiction in Animal Farm. And yes, the democrats are responsible for the shutdown AND the Obamacare debacle.
