Crimea is fully Russian and has been for hundreds of years. When “Ukraine” became a country in the 1990’s Russia only agreed to allow Ukraine to have it if they leased the entire area right back to Russia similar to how Hong Kong was leased to the British.

Then Ukraine reneged on the deal when their civil war against ethnic Russians started in 2014 after a coup overthrew their own sitting President. Ukraine threw its own constitution out the window and installed a puppet regime, and declared war on Russian speaking people.

Fuck around and find out.

Crimea is fully Russian

THE REALITY :
United Nations General Assembly Resolution 68/262 was adopted on 27 March 2014 by the sixty-eighth session of the United Nations General Assembly in response to the 🇸🇦🐷🇷🇺Muscovite annexation of Crimea and entitled "territorial integrity of Ukraine". ... affirmed the General Assembly's commitment to the territorial integrity of Ukraine within its internationally recognized borders and underscored the invalidity of the 2014 Crimean referendum.
PS

United Nations General Assembly Resolution 68/262 is a nonbinding resolution, which does not enact a law or substantive rule. Crimea was historically a Russian territory. The transfer of the Crimean oblast to Ukraine in 1954 was a "symbolic gesture", marking the 300th anniversary of the reunification of Ukraine with Russia. It was Nikita Khrushchev's big mistake, who was personally fond of Ukraine. After the American takeover of Ukraine in 2014, Russia retracted the Soviet-era decree to protect 1 million Russians in Crimea.

In 1954, the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet transferred the Crimean Oblast to the Ukrainian SSR from the Russian SFSR. The territory had been recognized within the Soviet Union as having "close ties" to the Ukrainian SSR, and the transfer itself commemorated the Union of Russia and Ukraine Tercentenary. Amidst the dissolution of the Soviet Union in 1991, the Ukrainian SSR seceded from the Soviet Union and Ukraine continued to exercise sovereignty over the territory as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. For just over two decades after 1991, Russia did not dispute the Ukrainian administration in Crimea, but retracted this stance on 18 March 2014, when Crimea was annexed by Russia after coming under Russian military occupation.

No one gives a fuck what the UN says. They have no authority over anything.

.

Remind us where “Ukraine” was a hundred years ago?
