It seems the Republican establishment is focused on bringing the Obama Administration down - no matter what the consequences. At a critical time in our nations history, it seems we, as a people, ought to pull together and not apart.
Yet many of you (those who post on this forum) choose to continue the attack everything done or suggested by the new administation.
What bothers me is that no counter proposals are offered and the attacks on Obama are often personal and nearly all are emotion laden.
I don't support President Obama in lockstep, and would welcome honest and reasoned debate on the issues facing our nation. Unfortunately, there seems to be no honorable opposiition on the right.

First, if the Obama administration goes down Vice President Biden is in charge. If you think we want that, then your very much mistaken.

Second, we are asking questions that are critical for our nations future. You see, we dont want our nation to be fundamentally change. We want our Republic to be restored and the Constitution to be restored. Most, if not all, of Obama's policies are geared toward a totalitarian take over of our nation. We dont want that.

If you want us to support Obama, have him support good policies. Forcing through 1000+ page bills that no one reads by scaring people into thinking there is a crisis is not good for the Republic. What kind of sane person would think it was?? Having avowed communist radicals write bills is not good for the Republic. Government take over of private industry and financing is not good for the Republic. Nationalizing the health care industry is not good for the Republic. And as someone who has some medical problems, i have no desire to make the system work with Obamacare.

Im not going to support policies that are bad. I am never going to do that. I've been against these things for the past 10 years. I am not going to suddenly support them because you think i need to support Obama. If you want unity, stop trying to force bad policy on the people and get the hell out of their lives. You'd be surprised what we will do then.

Failed OP premise.

The republicans are no opposition....They're appeasers and enablers.

And right now, they have no power whatsoever to stop anything the kook left wants to press.

I am afraid you are right

Exactly. The Democrats hold the Majority and could've done this sans Republicans.

The reason they haven't is that the people are angry with what they're doing. And that in of itself sent a red flag to them for fear of their jobs.

Will they stop? Certainly not. They'll repackage, rename legislation without changing it's core premise. This is where we need to be vigilant.

Having the majority doesn't mean anything in the Senate, where the minority can just filibuster anything that moves.

still a total phoney after all these years.....................:clap2::clap2:

s0n...........you spend 8 years personally attacking George Bush and calling the 2000 election "stolen". So please.................

Lets face it............the 21%ers simply are in the midst of a mental meltdown over the historic slide of the annointed one!! Thus, what you invariably get from the k00ks is "no idea's"......."no counter proposals" talking points = fail.

Who gives a rats ass really.........even Rush Limbaugh said months ago that these dolts would way overplay their hand............and sure enough. The k00ks can never help themselves.........and hey, politically, we on the right will take it!!!:lol:

And when the democrats tried for the last 8 years to pull Bush down, did you feel the same way? Or was THAT different?

Oh, vey. The GOP are whiners because the are out of power. The Dems were whiners when they were out of power. The stoopidcons here always whine because they have no power.

Let's move on.

I think your post is quite funny. Let's change your opening sentence by just a couple of words. It seems the Democratic establishment is focused on bringing the Bush Administration down - no matter what the consequences. At a critical time in our nationshistory, it seems we, as a people, ought to pull together and not apart. I'm rolling on the floor here laughing my ass off - for real. It hasn't been but a few months ago and your exact same words could have been used on the Bush Administration. The difference in the two political camps is that George Bush had a little bit of honor to his name and he was a man, despite what the liberals seem to want to have everybody believe, that had some principal about him. You might not have liked what he said or stood for but you knew exactly what his position was. Obama is nothing more than a cheap Chicagoland political hack that hasn't done one thing that he said he would do while running for the office and has lied just about every day the sun has come up since he got elected. No matter what the issue is, he has flipped flopped on it. I can't help but to find your post quite funny. I can't believe you would post such nonsense. There's no doubt that you must be one of those liberal Democrats.

Obviously i'm going with Honorable. My God the hateful Liberal Kooks used to resort to calling George Bush's daughters "Drunken Whores" and honorable soldiers "Traitors." So yes i would say my opposition to this President is far more Honorable than what most Liberal Democrats displayed during Bush's Presidency.

Why would we want Obama to go down?
That would mean one of the biggest liberal idiots in political history would take charge.
No, we want Obama right where he is. He's undoubtedly making the case that liberals are friggin' idiots to the core. Obama is ensuring that there will never be another liberal moron elected to lead this great country again. And that my friends, IS A VERY GOOD THING!
We got one communist dirt bag, Van Jones, and we'll continue to expose the dirty bastards at every turn. Including Obama's anti-american communist a$$!
Kudos to Beck and Hannity for steadfastly exposing these anti-american communist bastards. Their ratings are going through the roof. People are listening. They're hearing all about what Obama truly is. And, that too my friends, is a very good thing!

LOL! This post is actually pretty hilarious. Yea you Liberals were real "Honorable" during George Bush's Presidency. Calling our President's daughters "Drunken Whores",Calling our President a "Coke-Head",Calling our President a "Coward",and calling our brave & honorable Soldiers "Traitors." Yea you guys were so honorable. Are you guys serious? PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEZE!!

Wry is the quintessential far left liberal. Don't let him fool ya'. He's in so lock step with Obama it's truly laughable.
Great post, btw!

On many issues I am liberal, and I am a registered Democrat. Neither facts make me a Marxist or a socialist - a liberal Democrat is no more extreme in opinion than is a conservative Republic.
The far left, and the far right hold extreme positions on policy, based many times on unproven or idealistic/moralistic platiitudes. Both believe their prejudices are axiomatic, and therefore never queston the dogma they hear and expouse.
If you're interested in debate, respond; if, like s kook your mind is closed, don't bother.

Wry, so, did you question Van Jones?
Are you questioning these other disgusting appointments made by Obama?
Seriously, it has to disturb ANY american that communists and anti-americans are just an arms length away from our president.
BTW, the Giants signing Brad Penny was a brilliant move. When he's healthy and on his game, there aren't too many better.
GO DODGERS!

Liberals really are at a point where no one with any common sense would call their opposition "Honorable." They relentlessly attacked George Bush's daughters and have viciously attacked Sarah Palin's children as well. My opposition to this President is far more honorable than their opposition to President Bush or Sarah Palin was. There is no honor in being a Liberal at this point. :(
