History Should Boost Critical Thinking

What happens when the best American historians name FDR as America's best president, then the American historians are called socialists, leftists etc.
Most industrial nations on the planet have an economic mixture, socialism and capitalism.

Because that is what they are!

Unless you supported FDR invading a country that did not attack the US.
Lying the US in to WWII
Rounding up US citizens and putting them in to camps without any due process.
For building the great military industrial complex.
For creating many socialist programs that were supposed to be temporary.
So why didn't those socialist programs remain temporary? At one time Social Security and other programs were called communistic, so I guess some views change with usage.

Yet FDR called them temporary measures to sell these programs to the American public. That is why the far left hails FDR as their hero and for no other reason..

And your answer is where far left drone?

The question was not asked of me, but if you insist.......yes.

And you (like the OP) are proof that the far left drones do not do any critical thinking or understand history.

And it was not a question, it was a statement..

Well, no Post #9, which you responded to specifically asked " Are there any developed countries in the world that don't have some socialistic programs?"
That's when you started your mindless drivel about drones.

And it is a far left drone propaganda question, it was standard drone question.

Not even the one that asked it has been able to answer their own question.

They asked that question believing that not one developed country has some socialistic programs. You have responded YES to that question. Which shows you just chose a response and did not critically think about the question, nor did the one asking the question, nor does the OP..

Yet you support the OP and the far left religion at all costs..

Actually they asked the question to determine your beliefs in the matter. Obviously most, if not all developed countries that have socialistic programs. The US is a major example. Your drivel is a good example of why right wingers are seen as childish hateful people.

And the far left drones support their own, go figure that one.

Also in todays world what countries are not developed countries?

FDR sucked, he was awful, worst economic record in human history
Your opinion has been noted, any history to go with it?

YOU have established that you are not interested in history.

So when were you given the power to decide who is and who is not interested in history? The professional historians seem to agree with me regarding the FDR presidency and not with you.

Prgressive's love FDR. Most history profs I've met are progressive.... the facts though don't speak well for FDR. In the 20th century there were three countries that resorted to concentration camps. Germany, the Soviet Union, and the United States. The US is the only country that had specific laws to prevent their use, and FDR abrogated every one of those laws.

I really could care less what "professional historians" have to say when they support that.

Where is it written that the historians supported the relocation centers?
There was more to those twelve FDR years than the Japanese relocation centers, sort of like our greatest depression and our greatest war.

I guess we all have different ideas as to how to express the critical thinking part of history, but I don't think that's it.

FDR's policies arguably continued the depression longer than it would had he not intervened. Prior depressions had lasted much shorter times. Once again FDR's policies in the years prior to WWII set the stage for the war to be the worst ever. That there was going to be a war was obvious. The scope of that war, and the Japanese decision to attack us was predicated on decisions that FDR made. I am not blaming him for the Japanese attack, but they WERE allies in WWI, as were the Italians.

FDR liked the fascists too much and especially the Soviets so he turned a blind eye to things that were occurring that would today engender severe sanctions.

You need to read a lot more history from others than sycophants.

Would you name the historians who are sycophants, and also those who have arguably extended the great depression?

America was supplying the Japanese with our resources to invade China and kill Chinese. Some Americans, including FDR, believed that to be wrong so we stopped sending Japan our materials to continue those acts. What Japan was to do without our oil and other materials was Japan's decision, but for some Americans that became enough to blame FDR for Pearl Harbor.
There was no manual written on how to stop depressions, Republicans had spent almost four years waiting for it to end like other depressions, but it didn't end. By 1932 people were hungry and some other nations were changing their governments.
FDR ran a campaign that he would try to end it by one means or another, he would experiment, and he did.

100% stupid and liberal of course. FDR experimented with only liberalism and thereby prolonged the Great Depression for 12 years into a world war. His is the worst record in American history by 100 times !! Depression could have been over in a year with capitalism or avoided altogether with capitalism.

Simple enough for a child but over the head of your average low IQ liberal.

, Republicans had spent almost four years waiting for it to end like other depressions.

in those days Republicans were stupid lberals who did stupid liberal things like ban free trade and Hoover Dam stimulus.

A liberal lacks the IQ to know anything. He is merely the product of brain washing

Of course, Republicans were liberal in those days of Hoover, Coolidge and Harding why couldn't anyone see that? But Hoover did bring in RFC that loaned to companies to make more of their products; products that were already stacked in their warehouses.
One question would Hoover dam be considered socialism?

so you understand that Hoover was liberal??
I guess all this time I have been thinking liberalism is more concerned about people and conservatives more about corporations. So if Hoover wanted to loan money to corporations and not see that the people fed he was a conservative. Am I now to understand that is all wrong, Hoover was for Social Security and FDR against?

Sure there was a manual, it was written by Harding, Coolidge and Mellon in 1920.
