Umm you just validated the Post header, I was using the History channel attempt at dating John to make a point about dating the Historical to notice the myth of Jesus doesn't fit history. Crucifixion was a common roman form of execution. It often took days to die and the visibility of the hanging on a cross was a warning to others.
Hundreds of thousands were crucified around that time period. There were many different methods and all were very cruel.

If you want to be taken seriously, by me at least, you need to write clearly, express your ideas clearly. How do you know he couldn't read or write?

In any case, the main method of communication for him would have been oratory, and by all accounts, he was an excellent speaker and very charismatic. The purpose of language is to communicate, and he communicated extremely well. The purpose of written language is also to communicate. You are not proficient at that or at thinking clearly. It is beyond ludicrous to compare yourself to the prophet Jesus.
