Hillary and Warren are Crushing The Right In Book Sales

It's been two weeks since former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's Hard Choices hit the shelves, and she's already getting hit for a "disappointing" rollout. Critics say her book is "bombing" and sales are "tanking," news outlets and conservative blogs report.

But sales figures for Hard Choices, compared with sales of books penned by potential Republican presidential hopefuls, tell a different story. According to Nielsen BookScan data, Clinton has sold almost 135,000 copies of her new memoir.

Meanwhile, Republicans who have similarly aimed to boost their profile with a book -- Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.), Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush, Rep. Paul Ryan (Wis.), Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, and former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee -- have paled in comparison. In fact, Clinton's two weeks of sales top the total sales to date of books by Paul, Rubio, Bush, Ryan, Walker and Huckabee -- combined.

More at the link, which is, btw, Dredge. That means the panicky RWs can't whine about the source.

Thing is, political books are notoriously poor sellers but its interesting that so many more people want to read what Secty Clinton and Sen. Warren have to say.

Next thing you know, we'll be calling them prez and/or veep.

Oh yeah, and $arah's books didn't even make the count cuz they went straight to the remainder table.

A thread like this was already done... Ron Paul alone beats Hillary.... Ron fucking Paul.

THE REVOLUTION by Ron Paul (Grand Central Publishing, 2008): 147,452 copies in hardcover, 41,555 in paperback http://www.thedailybeast.com/articl...ential-candidates-compete-for-book-sales.html

Just goes to show the power of our next President (Clinton)!

As for Sarah's books.....Que Ser-ah! Ser-ah!!

The printing presses have been ordered to run non stop for the next 5 years to try to keep
up with the demand. The publishers don't think that will even make a slight difference...
Servers across the globe may be needed to help out with E book downloads.

Oh the humanity.

Lots of desperation from the RWs tonight

:lmao:

Well I'm not a RW but I already proved you stupid.

Fact is the main issue with the book sales were that Hillary was paid a mass amount upfront and the sales never materialized. At this point I doubt the book company has made their money back, if she does not run for President I'd bet no one gives her a book contract again. The point is, they are banking on book sales during 2015, not just because the book did horrible now, but because that's when the book would have sold anyways.

Is it posssible maybe just a slight chance that some who can't stand either of these two
purchased the book just out of curiosity.
We are being led here to think that the country on a whole will support either of these two
in an election based on book sales.

You gotta consider that Hillary has received anywhere from 8 million to 13 million advance from her publisher and if her sales are around 135k, do the math. I expect to be able to pick up a copy at the Dollar Store pretty soon.

Looks like the OP is full of shit as usual.....

According to Nielsen BookScan numbers provided to The Daily Caller, as of Aug. 10, Carson’s “One Nation” has sold 225,000 copies, compared to 223,000 copies for Clinton’s “Hard Choices.”

Nielsen BookScan’s survey “currently covers approximately 85 percent of the print book market,” according to the company.

In that case? Wait till Winter...would make great tinder to start a fire in your fireplace. (BUT BEWARE of the EPA) ;)

I'm not so sure. She would have very little to lose by taking the VP slot if offered.

Clinton has fence mending to do in the realm of appealing to populists; Warren would help that process nicely.

Nothing new. Reality eludes them as always. What a way to live life...living LIES and getting tangled in the web of lies they weave. They're pathetic.

Progressive liberals are not in love with Hillary. She is much too hawkish and centrist for them. they want a wingnut. Liz Warren is a viable and vocal alternative. A lot of progressives see her as a fresh face unafraid to take on those "evil corporations". I think she's cuckoo bananas.......
